Arrma Typhon - This Buggy can Fly!

What a bash Bam! Arrma tuff!!! She took one hella beatdown there man.. buggies are super tricky to control at times especially when you hit the jump awkwardly. Damn she can fly! That's for sure.

Love my typhon, I think the lightness compared to my kraton helps save alot of breakages. Tip for moving heavy rocks alone. I use a canvas tarp runner 4'x15' wrapped around the rock and either "walk it" back and forth If it's enormous or just drag it if it's big away from the area. OR using a hand truck w/canvas tarp looped around the rock and then the top of the handles you can use the leverage of the hand truck and the tarp will pull the rock on to the hand truck. I moved 145+ rock the other day by myself doing it this way. Even works great to get it out of the hole that it's in which is the hardest part once you dig it free. Using the two ends of the runner as handles and the canvas tarp to grip the rock you can move it around much easier. I live right over the RI border in Massachusetts and have a 30-ft long crawler course on the side of my house built out of massive rocks that I've dug up from all over my property. Love the vids keep it up man.

I had a castle setup in my 6s kraton it was also a mmx esc.did the same thing,just random power loss. I got tired of it and put a max6 in it ,zero issues

Did that have an M2C chassis on it? Assuming so... can't imagine the stock one not folding up on you with some of those landings. Looks like it and M2C towers/braces. My MMX/2200kv sensored setup in my savage flux would reboot for no reason. It was doing it repeatedly throughout a bash session, just driving along, then it would stop, and give the startup "chirps". I asked castle about it after sending my log and they thought perhaps I was getting water on the sensor plug in the esc. Or my lipo's/connectors weren't supplying enough current. I was running SMC 7400mah 2S and traxxas connectors at the time. Oddly, I don't recall it doing it when I switched to 6S with hobbystar 6200 50C packs with the traxxas connectors and xt90's. Watching you with that makes me really want to try a buggy at the grass bmx I run at... Just don't have the dough to find out it sits too low to deal with the grass constantly. Suppose I could put 2.8 MT tires on it or something.

M2C chassis. Not sure which braces but they are metal. The truck is still a tank. I think I've only broken one arm and that was in the winter. My issue was the ESC kept reading massive voltage drops and it would go into LVC for a split second. I checked the logs to confirm this. The battery I used is only a few months old and I have no issues with it in my other trucks. I have had it reboot like you said yours does. I think the Castle ESC's are made of glass 😅

That was friggin BADASS Brother Ed 😜!!!! This is why the Typhon is still my all-time favorite 😍. Crazy fast, fly's like a bird, and tough as nails 👀. Hope you got your ESC sorted. Just bought a MM2 for a speed project. I've had mixed luck with my MMX's with Hobbystar motors anyways. Did Killer with my old 1515 2200 non sensored in my Truggified a couple years back though. Might have a bad esc switch dude. Just cut and splice it. I cut every Castle esc switch out right from the get go.
