For me, this speaks to how the production process should be a collaborative effort. Multiple heads in a room working to one common goal. Helps share the workload, come up with new perspectives, challenge ideas etc. I struggle so much as a solo artist because I’m in my own head so much about production, mixing, lyrics etc. Props for taking on the challenge and succeeding.

I love Reaper for the ability to use every track as bus and hv all funktions of a track. Using busses the right way is audio engineering basic.

other mfs actually makes beat and vocals/mixmaster in like 1h
@NathanJamesLarsen15 сағат бұрын
sure if you are just using loops. I actually create everything from scratch - vocal production alone is about a 2 hour process LOL. It's HILARIOUS to see to people thinking music like this can be made in 1 hour - that's just wild. Again - if you just make beats and use loops - sure - but if you actually are making full songs with entire arrangements, vocal production, editing, mixing, and mastering... nice try.

@ bro im making fire beat in 20-30 mins with no loops then do the song in like next 20-30 mins (mixmaster like 15mins)

Sooo overdramatic. I would understand the stress and putting yourself, your good name on the spot IF you were LIVE STREAMING! KZbin recommended this and I like it, it's just that the drama is way too much; you made a challenge yourself, and IF you failed you could just scratch the whole project and start over, the world would never know. I like the song though, and I've subscribed.

Hey bro, awesome content! You explain things super well, and your videos are really dynamic. I think you should take the time to invest in adding a Spanish audio option to your videos, like some KZbin channels do. The way you speak would totally connect with Spanish speakers, and that could easily double or even triple your subscribers. Sending you a big hug!

lol good work! Great experiment. This goes to show people it's not easy. I make beats and I write. Some of the top hits take 30 days to write, maybe months, some hours.

The moment that I started purchasing high quality, not necessarily expensive VSTs that sounded great out of the box that did not need much mixing was a game changer for me. It allowed me to focus more on my arrangements than getting the mix to sound good because it was already pretty much there.

This is such a good creative and technical exercise! This helps to shape processes and workflow, for when "real world" timelines demand the same or similar. I think all writers, producers, composers, arrangers, should do this, even if they don't publish it.

I’m still struggling to understand. How do I know how to change the graphs for what my sound needs? Is there a prerequisite video that would help me get to a better understanding before I try to understand this one?
@hessi_9432 күн бұрын
Bandlab has improved a lottttt, and ive found that many ppl can make beats with it that are indistinguishable from those of more complex DAWs like FL or ableton or logic! sure, there are many limitations but its still pretty good :3

I agree that the Artistry is slowly going by the wayside! And putting in the 10,000 hours is just the start . I tell younger producers that in order to achieve what you’re going for, you have to understand how to get there. 👍🏻
