Wildcard devs saying the servers can't handle 2x or more because of breeding what a load of bullshit , if they really gave a shit about server performance, there's 1 simple thing they could do which would fix server performance on NA and EU official servers, ban all Chinese players from joining NA and EU servers, they constantly dupping and all have the max 250 dinos out and have cloner stacks everywhere running 24/7 each stack is like 20-30 cloners , this is on all servers not just extinction, and on top of that they all play pve like it's pvp they steal eggs kill tames and spam the whole map with structures, I've got over 8k hours in ark between ase and asa and played with 100s of people over that time and none of them have ever had a good experience with Chinese players on NA and EU servers it's time for them to go .

I am an official PVE player, I have been since 2018-19, and I absolutely hate the maximum 2X rates. And wild cards explanation about memory management hitting the servers too hard because we’re breeding has got to be the biggest load of crap. I think I’ve ever heard of. Even Dom is running higher rates on his servers and I’m pretty sure he’s running nitrado servers on his clusters. So then the question boils down to why are they running official servers at 2X rates maximum when small tribes and ark Apocalypse can run between 3X and 4.5 X pretty much consistently. I mean, I hate to see this but anything that Dolly says I literally just throw out the window because they’re not gonna give you the truth anyways.

Funny how in todays technology, the year 2025, they implement 50 meter render distance on the server ( Turok: dinosaur hunter 1997) and it still cant perform with 70 players. 70 players was the cap in ASE in 2015. With the center map capped at 100 players in 2016. So how have we not progressed but actually regressed since that time? Make it make sense.

Ark 2 is so far down road. I do not think it ever coming out. Snail games is in world of hurt for $$$$ and ASA is just not selling good enough to fund a Ark 2 which would require more $$, that reason we have ASA and why it going to take them 2 more years to actually finish ASA. Because they can not afford to hire staff to work on a complex project like Ark 2 would take. ASA is just a minor conversion of ASE so will no take as much work. And all new paid content is just mod crap really and nothing that take as much time ass building new code would do.

I play official PVE ever since 60/90 was the official Dino level cap. I play on official for 2 reasons: the ability to play with a lot of other people on the same character and keeping myself honest with that playstyle (no summoned items or Dinos). It does feel like an accomplishment when I build bases and tame creatures in that environment

I first started playing ASE when CI dropped for PS4. I can certainly understand the switch from PvP to PvE. When I started on official PvP with friends, I was the newbie tribemate who didn't know anything about the game, committing to staying up until 3AM raising tames, and making sure to gather rss, and make sure everything was organized. I was tribe mom and maid without realizing it. Granted it was my choice, since I just wanted to be helpful and contribute. What I didn't realize, was that my tribe leader was using my doing scut as an excuse to try and raid others without telling the rest of us. So when we would get raided, and lose all of our progress, it was heartbreaking, as I had never played a game of this style before. Here's where I understand both WC, and others switching; my tribe moved to an unofficial pve with 1000x. Which was great at first (especially not worrying about losing progress OR sleep), until it fried my ps4 firmware and I couldn't play ark again until ASA came out when I got a PS5. Hence I see where WC is hesitant. But, now I am on ASA on a PvE cluster that runs 20x, and several mods, and not so much as a hiccup ON A NITRADO-HOSTED SERVER. The cluster owner even worked with the coding to enable faster breeding, and again no hiccups! It's not until WC starts "patching" that we ever run into any issue with constant DCing, and currently the only culprit is EXT. So yeah, I agree with people calling BS!

your skin seems smoother with the new lighting, but just slightly blurry. not blurry enough to be a problem just enough where u can barely notice. if your light is straight on with your head you should try raising it above your head more because a down shadow has more feel to it to most people since its the natural lighting we are used to with the sun. Also when the light is same height as your face u get more reflection on your skin which is probably why t seems slightly blurry.

I’ve seen alot of people say they’ve been crashing alot despite having a 4070. I have a 4060 and haven’t crashed since the Center release. - I play singleplayer - I put most settings to medium (textures epic, advanced settings high, view distance low, effects low) - I get around 60 fps (my monitor doesn’t go past 60, getting a new one later on) - I put all the standard commands in (r.fog 0, r.volumetricclouds 0, r.grassscale 0.5, r.streaming.poolsize 0.9) - I have frame gen on and the nvdia settings put on quality - I play on 2560 x 1440 res This runs fine even when im hosting a non-dedicated server to play with friends. The tether distance is not too bad (1km) and even with mods my game runs fine. The game looks great, hopefully these settings help people.

I'm in a server that has free and patreon servers. I don't use the patreon servers myself, it's too simplified and I prefer less mods but they use the whales to pay for the normal servers they have. Best part is it separates the guys just buying all their shit from people who actually grind. No pay to win ironically by offering pay to win with a wall between us.

Here's the thing, they are saying the 2X is related to the breeding as to why they cap that amount. BUT, this week, they proved they can have 2x resources and 1x breeding. So why can't they have 3x or 4x Resources and 2x breeding? I've seen most players, who are non-breeders in PVE are more excited about the 2X+ RESOURCES than they are about the breeding and maturation. There are things the Devs can actually do that meet people in the middle, but they just don't want too. Nitrado needs to be made to upgrade their servers to deal with capacity.

That wouldn't be meeting people in the middle. Mostly because I believe most pve players prefer the multiplier for maturing/breeding more than they want it for the other stuff. Carchs, Gigas, Rexes, either Dreads, etc all take days to grow even with 3x. So for people like me, more resources, that I can do next to nothing with because I'm waiting for dinos to grow, is not a fair trade off. Because at some point, your need to tame more dies off, unless an event is going. In which case, you're taming for colors.

I did play official small tribes quit because of the lack of punishment to teamers when it’s clear as day. Have spy glass evidence and tribe log what else do they physically need to ban people. They need to do better if they’re gunna revive pvp. Enforcement team needs to be more brutal. Exploiters not getting banned fast enough. Ratholes and meshing need to be fixed. Crashing needs to be reduced. Now I’m playing pve because of all the pvp issues I’m having more fun and can actually play the game without cheaters ruining it

UE 5.5 has nothing to do with back-end. Its a visual/performance upgrade (there wont be performance upgrade for ark though, because their hands grow out of asses and both hands of every dev are left. They have no talent to fix netcode.

From what im seeing with your video is that it took half the video for it to even focus, your face was out of focus for half the video. On the official server side of things i played official, pve only, not as long as most but my reason for leaving was the cheating. When u have ppl teleporting to your base and being able to destroy everything u own, when your tp was on private to begin with, does not make for a nice place to be.

Not sure what people are saying re the 2x. I don't recall it being anything but 2x normally. Events only occasionally higher. Anyway Im personally moving onto other games or just playing single player .I have not been on that for a week. Extinction has finally done me in. Between the devs shit behaviour and them not dealing with pillaring. Ive had it. I flew around and pillars everywhere. Last time i went on official pve i grabbed my anky. Got to the boundary of our tiny yard and was greeted by pillars restricting our base. I logged straight out. I also want to mention that something out of control with the breeding. It took 7yrs roughly to get to the melee and health the main creatures are at now. Not to mention the fact the boss on Extinction is already being done. Took a while for people to work that out. They have literally made it too easy for those that know how to abuse the system or just luck out. The Christmas tree thing for a start has allowed people to get perfect melee etc Early game. You then have people selling land and dinos for cash. The Devs do not care less. THE FACT THEY CLEARLY HAVE KZbinRS CHECKING OVER THEIR SHOULDERS FOR FEAR OF GETTING BANNED.

As a Breeder I feel like ASA rates have been to high the entire life of the game so far. We are barely a year and a half into the game and we have capped perfect Rex with multiple set colors Deadpool's, Tron's, Superman's Etc. We are not some massive tribe part of some massive Alliance just very experienced players who know how to breed dozens of dinos at once. We run up to 100 Dinos at a time with just 2 of us. Through Trading Cleaning, Mutating ourselves we have Capped Carches, Rex, Ankys, Argys, and these animals go on and on Very experienced players like myself know the game is going to fast and know every trick to breed, tame move stats and automate the base to make these things happen easily. We are on PVE Official its still alive and well. As a player who has been around since the start of Ark PVP is just to much of a head ache and the only true way it feels to enjoy the game now is to travel from map to map and just take in all the content. Having multiple bases across all maps makes for variety like no other game in existence. Just as and example with our rex collection we have well over 1300 in our breeding pool at this point to pull from which many professional breeder tribes didn't have years into ASE. Every one of these is imprinted other than 300 or so clean wilds. Again we both are adult working professionals with full time jobs and lives but are playing on official and are extremely experienced at the game. Baby tracking, Auto fill carts running with crops and fridges, Giga raptors incubating eggs. All these things can cut hundreds and hundreds of hours out of gameplay. Now this is from the point of view of a obvious hard core PVE player who understand mechanics very deeply but this is just my take. Players come to PVE and run into some jerks and land hoarders and its a turn off but the majority of PVE players will help you get your feet off the ground and welcome you to the community. Anyone who ask for help from us will always get it. Sorry for the book brother just wanted to toss this out there for the fans. Tek Rex Guy.

Playing since 2016 always offical pvp currently on server 511 isolated pvp is fun not as good as the old days but I like the cryo pod update as I love building in caves wish they would bring it back were you cannot throw cryo near enemy but hey ho can't complain 😅😂

I have played official pvp on ase, i loved it but on asa its boring, full of cheaters and meshing. I took a big break recently and came back to small tribes today. Already found 10 mesh holes, gachas spawn in mesh its just crazy😂

nah mate, sorry to say, but people with your mind frame, are exactly, why the game is wrecked.. people like me, breed daily, 1x people like you, maon about rates... rates bring lag, rates bring super breeding, and base caps, tribes splitting, to beat tame cap, events cause moaners, whiners, and part time breeders. the novelty, of an event... is a good feeling. having it 2x, is meant to be a thing to look forard to. id rather they scrap evo tbh, and only have the odd event.

Wildcard and snails games and p2w content and mods and bad RVM fucked up the game pretty much I swear to god wildcard doesn’t test anything even when they developed Asa they probably didn’t test and develop Asa after it was delayed back in August 2023

the reason was, trump was being sworn in, the rainbows dont like that. i have never seen an ingame rainbow person , yet the official discord has 50 rainbow admins and make the slightest joke about it and you are banned.

When they got rid of official hardcore servers and did not renew with ASA they lost the most intense and dedicated player base.
