The Edmonton Oilers - NHL Version of Incompetence (HD)

The Edmonton Oilers have so much potential due to having two of the best hockey players in the world. However, since Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl were drafted, the Oilers have done absolutely nothing major to help them. Every time it seems like the Oilers have some hope, it gets crushed by poor roster decisions and bad contracts. The Oilers recent trade history says it all. Hopefully this changes quickly because the two superstars deserve it as well as the fans who have to suffer through it all.

This video is not meant in any way to make fun of the Oilers or their fans. It is simply to spread the unfortunate truth about why the Oilers can never find any success. Year after year, the Oilers have so much potential, but are ruined by the incompetence of management. Connor, Leon and especially the fans deserve much better than this. Everything in this video is so true and it truly pains me to see the way the rush prospects and dont address and support the needs of this team. Wasting the primes of 2 of the best players in the world is just depressing. This team needs a solid #1 goalie and defensive forwards and defensemen. This year just reaffirms they cannot protect a lead and do not know what to do in their own zone or shut a game down. Truly hope management finally wakes up and gives Edmonton and the players the team they deserve

The sweep to the Jets is being blown out of proportion. Obviously its not good but Winnipeg is a solid team with an elite goalie and three of the games went to overtime. It very easily could have been a 3-1 series for Edmonton.

Still not as bad as Toronto lol Edmonton has made improvements Puljujarvi will get better the D will as well with Bouchard playing a full season guys like Holloway , Benson , Skinner , McLeod will make an impact just need to sign couple good free agents this team has a better success rate of getting out of round one which they have compared to Toronto. And the best guys on Edmonton produces unlike Toronto

Ugh couldn’t watch to the end. Watched the decade of darkness already. So brutal. I can barely watch the oilers now they’re better but Leon and Connor don’t look like they use too. I don’t know they are going to make playoffs this year but I don’t think they’ll make it past 1st round. They haven’t been dominant this season. I don’t know I watched to many years of then sucking. Now they have a good team but I still think they lack in defence even with ekholm and goaltending skinner… Maybe they’ll prove me wrong I don’t think so. I’m not optimistic anymore. I expect the worst. Sorry Oilers no hard feelings. But I’ve been watching over a decade now.
