Hey guys! Here are my early season predictions for the 2019-20 season! There will be some disagreements, but if you disagree, comment your picks down below!

Pacific: I feel blessed you think that LA can get up to 65 pts. Tbh I have the same predictions. Central: not sure about NSH, but def can see WPG not making. Sort of mixed on CHI making it. Atlantic: OTT oof. I actually have BUF making the playoffs, but everything else is on point. Metro: CBJ def a head scratcher. This is the hardest division to predict honestly, minus WSH. I had NJ and PHI in. 1996 rematch? Barkov v MacKinnon? Sure why not.

Damn probably the best predictions by far. Mine are very similar. Allow me to show mine Pacific 1.Vegas-103pts (most comfortable with all around) 2- San Jose- 99pts (still gonna be great) 3. Arizona- 97pts (agreed) 4. Calgary- 91pts (not a playoff team unfortunately, felt they overachieved offensively and their goaltending didnt improve, in fact I would argue it got worse, smith>talbot) 5- Vancouver- 86pts (continue to improve) 6- Edmonton- 82pts (dont know what's going on with them) 7- LA- 74pts (capable of being slightly better cause of the core pieces they have but it's clear they can't keep up with today's NHL) 8- Anaheim-70pts (youth movement) Central 1- Nashville-112pts (too stacked to miss playoffs) 2- Colorado-106pts (agree) 3- St.Louis- 101pts (solid year for the defending champs) 4- Dallas- 98pts WC1 (they should be good but i think people are overeating them) 5- Chicago- 94pts WC2 ( got that feels too) 6- Winnipeg- 92pts (tough Central and defense took a huge hit) 7- Minnesota -77pts (too much power houses) Atlantic 1- Tampa Bay- 117pts (still best of the league) 2- Toronto- 109pts (look very scary) 3- Florida- 105pts (they have all the pieces now) 4- Boston -102pts WC1 (taking a step back but still gonna be dominant in a powerhouse divison) 5- Montreal- 98pts WC2 (exciting team, bright future, huge sleepers) 6- Buffalo- 84pts (improving Is a must) 7- Detroit- 75pts (rebuild but loads of potential 8- Ottawa- 62pts (yeah could be worse) Metropolitan 1- Washington- 107pts (still have the division) 2- Philadelphia- 96pts (overlooked, think they have enough to be a solid team and get in he playoffs) 3- New York Islanders- 95pts (Confident they can repeat the season they had, Varlamov when healthy isnt that bad) 4- Pittsburgh- 93pts (the metro is changing) 5- Carolina- 90pts (bold, but I'm hesitant to assume the year they had can be duplicated) 6- New York Rangers- 87pts (rebuild not gonna last much longer but dont think its playoffs just yet) 7- New Jersey Devils- 81pts (despite great offseason, not sold on this team. Still have major ???? When it comes to depth, defense that are good defensively and who's in goal?) 8- Columbus- 78pts (agree) Wrote alot so not gonna include playoffs but all in all, agree with alot and I do have Avs and Panthers in the finals as well. However I have the Panthers winning it all next year instead!

For CBJ I'll say this: This was a playoff team before the Dzingel, Duchene trades so they shouldn't be taken into account. In fact, they were first in the Metro for the first half of the season before nose-diving until the final few weeks of the season. Panarin leaves but you get at least 50% of him in Nyquist and all the young forwards (Dubois, Anderson, Bjorkstrand, Texier) are getting better too. Big question is how well Merzlikins (or Korpisalo) slots in as a starter in place of Bob. Not saying this team is a playoff team, but I really don't think they'll be at the bottom of the division.

Canes in 1st place I TOTALLY agree with, but you got us losing to Montreal in the First Round? They couldn't even match the offer sheet for Aho and plus we have home-ice advantage. I actually think the Canes could be a surprise and win the Cup which includes us beating Tampa Bay in the ECF.

Interesting predictions. As a Leafs fan I don't agree with them being in the second wild card spot. I get Florida over them but the Habs really. I think the Blues win the central, Devils and Flyers both make the playoffs. Your Stanley cup final would be cool as hell.

Lol the Flyers. They got better this year. (Yeah they overpaid a bit for Hayes but he makes the team deeper and better). Don’t know why everyone is so low on them. They young guys will get better, Couturier, Giroux and Voracek in their primes, deep core, good prospects that trying to push for a roster place.

danglerz TV i mean Carter Hart was the starting goaltender for more than half of the last season. And he was amazing. That’s proof enough. Their D got better, replacing Andrew McDonald, Christian Folin with Matt Niskanen and Justin Braun. Provorov will sign, just like Werenski, McAvoy. It’s a waiting game who signs first. So: replaced Dale Weise, Jori Lehtera, Andrew McDonald and Christian Folin with Mat Niskanen, Justin Braun, Kevin Hayes and a A-prospect like Farabee or Frost. And they wont have goalie problems like the first half of last season. There’s anything to believe that they will be better than last season.

The leafs in 5th and the golden knights in 4th surprised me. These teams are 2 very good teams and i would not put them that low. I think if the leafs sign marner, they would be at least 3rd in the atlantic. The golden knights should be ahead of arizona. Phil Kessel will make an impact but it wont beat the golden knights. They have a solid top 6.

I got Toronto taking the east and I think the Panthers could compete for a wild card. Ottawa will be the worst team without a doubt. I think Arizona will be a wildcard contender. I think Colorado will be a relevant team in the west.

Islanders were a surprise but Carolina was not for me because they dominated games and SOG. They took a lot of shots and suppressed opponents shots. Chicago had all their forwards, like Toews, and they still finished 6 points outside the playoff race. Plus with really no big accusations this offseason they are basically bringing back the same team. Their defense has waaayyyy too many holes in it to even make a run. I think that prediction was just all the way out in left field

@@dianedelouchrey6189 Crawford got injured for most of the season, the Hawks were playing with a backup half the year... if either Lehner or Crawford stay healthy, and Shaw gets chemistry back with Toews and Kane this team can make noise. They have a nice mix of veterans (Toews, Kane, Keith, Shaw) and very good young pieces (Perlini, Strome, Debrincat). Defense can be a problem, however I think they can pull it togheter ESPECIALLY if Lehner has his red hot season like last year.

It looks pretty good. I don’t get the hype around the Avalanche though? Last time I checked, they were an inconsistent, one-line show. If this was the NBA, they would be a Super team. Unfortunately, this is the NHL. Also, I may be biased, but the Devils rebuild was smarter than the Rangers rebuild (who plunged themselves into cap hell).

In regards to the avalanche adding kadri was huge, if he has a bounce back year which I think he will, you can pen him in for 50-60 points which will take so much of the pressure off the first line, making them much more lethal. Also I believe grubaur is the real deal(might have spelled his name wrong) and they're d-core is improved even with the loss of barrie, makar and Byram will be impact players emmediately. As for the devil's I agree that they're rebuild was smarter than the rangers but I cannot see the devils making the playoffs with that goaltending and defense

@@riseofthesugars5312 I have heard of blackwood and I was debating putting them in 5th because of him, I believe in the future he could be a solidified starter but I think they are going to waste a lot of games trying to get Schneider back to his elite level, and I don't know if blackwood is good enough to give them the late season run they would need to make the playoffs
