Shin Kamen Rider has flaws because Kamen Rider 1971 has flaws.

It's a 2 hour episode of Kamen Rider. You can say it has flaws and shit, but honestly it's a solid Encapsulation of the legacy it represents.

Masakazu Katsura also had various tokusatsu inspired one shots in his career.

This movie has, bar none, the best human story in any Godzilla movie. To the point that Godzilla himself kind of feels superfluous. Like, you could replace him with an original monster and the movie would still work, it may even be better. So to me it feels less like "a Godzilla movie" and more like "a war drama that has Godzilla in it". But still an excellent one, and completely deserving of its success.
