In No More Heroes 3, you can literally hear Travis blabbering about Kamen Rider Zi-O during a cutscene. No one can obviously deny that not being a reference, it's just a straight mention! lol He specifically mentioned the Ibaragi rock quarry where they filmed many tokusatsu shows, and names Zi-O as a straight example.

Captain Falcon (in Smash Brothers) is almost entirely a Kamen Rider reference. While the wiki states the green color is a Wild Goose reference, it's clearly Ichigo in SSB4 and Ultimate.

In Pokemon BW, we get The Mighty Accelguard (or Kaiketsu A☆Gilder). He's a two-for-one Ishinomori reference since he takes from both Kaiketsu Zubat (the same named pokemon itself already being a reference to Zubat) and Kamen Rider. He rides a bike, has a guitar (a specifically Zubat reference) and performs a rider kick. There are a lot of other shows and games that do Rider references but I think this is the first reference that manages to use two of Ishinomori's characters in one go. That in itself I think is interesting. Also, Megaman, the classic series can practically be read/seen as a specifically Kamen Rider reference. The robot masters being stolen and Megaman willingly becoming a combat robot in the first game is like Kamen Rider X. Protoman working for Dr.Wily in exchange for his energy core being upgraded in Megaman 3 and then switching sides to help Megaman in Megaman 4 is like Kamen Rider Stronger.

In the case of mega man, the reference is from a cartoon called astro boy, and there is no influence from masked rider. However, the scarf Proto Man is wearing is clearly a reference to masked rider.

@@宮本マリオ I know the general knowledge for megaman being a long time fan. The specific shows mentioned were Astroboy, Casshan and Ninjacaptor. That doesn't mean there weren't any other influences. Remember, Metonger-Z is a Mazinger-Z reference. Also, it's not for classic megaman but Starforce 2's last boss Le Mu is a Brave Raideen reference to Ra Mu.

Speaking of Digimon, there's a case at the end of Digimon Cyber Sleuth: Hacker's Memory Where you have to fight your friend to snap him out of his depression (as one does). After the battle, his Cyberdramon does the Kamen Rider Amazon henshin pose before digivolving into Justimon and does a rider kick for good measure. In fact, his signature move, Justice Kick, is your typical rider kick.

Actually I would like to acknowledge a few more reference to the Kamen rider franchise. -Aside from mumen rider, D-Pad is also a Kamen rider like hero, while not getting enough screen time in mobile game opm, road to hero when you unlock D-Pad you get his two attacks moves, both referencing the rider punch and rider chop finishers. Furthermore, when you switch to his drawing model he will do the exact same pose as Ichigo, and in his description it states that he's "well loved by children" another reference. -Genos while not rider related, has his backstory similar to the showa riders, more specifically Kamen rider V3. -judement, a stand in the world of Jojo bizarre adventure, is designed to reference to Kamen rider and tokusatsu genre. -and the guyver who, although not a tokusatsu product has similarities to the franchise as well as the manga artist being a fan of shotaro Ishinomori, who is the godfather for creating the base of the first kamen rider.

In Yu-Gi-Oh Sevens episode there is a scene where Kaizo imagins Luke, Romin and Gakuto as his cyborg slaves working for him. Luke is shown in Shocker uniform In Transformers Cybertron/Galaxy Force Thunderblast makes THE POSE once. Also, in Danball Senki, desides several character being literally a Super Sentai, there is one scene with Shocker looking soliders. I have recorded some of these references in KR Amino, so that's why I remember them

You already flashed Ayano's silhouette for a bit, but yeah, I love how Kagerou Days references the imagery of Kamen Rider through Ayano. She wears a similar red scarf and poses around like Kamen Rider cause she wanted her newly adopted siblings to forge the association of red being the color of heroes. Up until they point they viewed themselves as monsters due to their red eyes and the abilities that came with them, but Ayano replaces that association to their red eyes actually marking them as heroes. I think it's a truly heartwarming way to reference the core of classic Kamen Rider, of men who are turned into monsters but become heroes because they use their abilities for the good of others.

My friends were fans of power rangers; but I told them I liked Masked Rider more. They thought I made it up, if only they knew. Although the saban series for masked rider was terrible, I enjoyed the fight scenes and transformations more. Probably saw the real series shine through the terrible american adaptation. About 1-2 years ago I rediscovered it thanks to a site that hosted japanese drama's and so I watched Zi-O all the way through to catch up. Sure it was only the heisei series but I fell in love and still am in love with the series. It was like a distant memory returning in Full Force; although I didn't see them all yet, I'm definitely will try. If anything it's like be reintroduced to an old friend all over again! The Pokémon Lokix itself is a Kamen Rider reference, even down to the shiny colors directly mimicking Zero-One's color scheme (which itself is a modern take on the very first Kamen Rider). In Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE there is a kids show in the game called Masqueraider is a reference to Kamen Rider as Masqueraider Raiga's signature move is the Raiga Kick. WarioWare games have plenty of references to oldschool japanese shows, from Voltron-esque super robots combining to Ultraman (instead of Ultraman, there's a "Nintenman", a giant Mario fighting with kaiju Bowser). Probably already addressed on the other comments, but: 1) Captain Falcon's moveset in Smash Bros was likely inspired by the whole aesthetic of Kamen Rider, especially his Down Special being basically a Rider Kick, as it'd explain why they opted for physical combat instead of the bounty hunter gun he's equipped with 2) Diebuster's Inazuma Kick actually predates to its previous series: Gunbuster! Surprised I didn’t see Persona on here. I know it’s more known for referencing Sentai/Power Rangers with the Phoenix Ranger Featherman series but there’s a few Rider references too. For starters in P4, Shadow Naoto’s dungeon and plan to change her body is a reference to Ichigo’s origin where his body was altered to a cyborg by Shocker (though the appearance of Shadow Naoto during the fight is a reference to Kikaider which ironically was referenced recently in Shin Kamen Rider). Also when you give Yosuke the Phoenix Ranger outfit, there’s a chance he’ll comment on it and mention “preferring the Rider series more.” And in P5, when Morgana turns into a bus for the first time, he does Ichigo’s iconic henshin pose. Finally, even though this is more of a SMT crossover, in Tokyo Mirage Sessions, there’s a side quest involving a stage show of a tokusatsu called Masqueraider which shouldn’t need a further explanation.

Pokemon has two references to Kamen Rider that I can point out. The first is a one-off character in the Gen 5 anime seasons called "Accelgor Rider", who even rides a motorcycle. Accelgor is also a bug type that looks like it's wearing a scarf, but is based on a snail and not a grasshopper. In Gen 9, there's the Pokemon Lokix, a Bug/Fighting type grasshopper with a very familiar appearance.

The author of guyver was instructed by the publisher to draw a comic like masked rider, and wrote the comic accordingly. By the way, the author of guyver changed the author's name and wrote a pedophelia comic before writing guyver, which would be a definite bashing in the present day.

The latest Pokemon Games, Scarlet and Violet, have perhaps one of the most blatant ones to date, that being National Pokedex #920, the Grasshopper Pokemon, Lokix. Its design absolutely oozes Kamen Rider energy, and it even has a quasi-signature move (I say "quasi-signature" because it shares it with Hitmonlee, Medicham and Hisuian Lilligant) in the form of Axe Kick.

Pokemon back in Black and White anime has a hero that show up in one episode as Accelguard with his partner Accelgor which also has a motocycle too. Now Pokemon Scarlet and Violet given us a new Pokemon, Nymble a Bug type Grasshopper Pokemon that later evovles into Lokix a Bug/Dark Grasshopper Pokemon. They uses their back third legs to go into a showdown mode where they can jump really high and deliver a devastating kick. The design is inspired by Kamen Rider Black Sun as its shiny form is inspired by Kamen Rider Zero-One. Even in TCG it even show it doing a rider kick.

In Persona 5 Makoto Niijima's Thief outift is based on Kamen Rider including a scarf. Ysuke even suggests her codename to be "Rider" in her showtime attack with Ryuji she even performs her own rider kick.

Super Robot Wars is a video game franchise that is almost as old as Pokémon, with dozens of games and spin-offs franchises. It basically takes every mecha series ever (Gundam, Code Geass, Macross/Robotech) and puts them in a (typically) turn-based strategy game ala Fire Emblem, completely with faithfully recreated animation sequences. The franchise has had several original characters and mecha, some of whom also have Kamen Rider references (one special unlockable mecha has a Rider Kick as a finisher). Not to mention one of the earliest incarnations of the game starred Kamen Rider (and Ultraman, who also became a DLC character in one of the more recent games).

The most influential one is the scarf. Since its appearance in Kamen Rider, red scarf, or the color red, have been attributed to being the protagonist/hero. In Digimon, there's another 1 that you've already showed, which is Justimon. Justimon definitely a Kamen Rider more than Stingmon in my personal opinon. Red scarf, Justi Punch & Justi Kick as its signature attack, and its left arm's a homage to Riderman. For the abundant of Kamen Rider, it's a no-brainer to not put "Haiyore! Nyaruko-Chan!". That Anime alone put 1-2 or more Kamen Rider reference every episode. The anime & manga covers are also got Kamen Rider reference in it... Also 1 of the most iconic Kamen Rider reference that old Otaku know & love is from Dragon Ball. Yes, The Son of Carrot, The Rice of Justice. The GREAT Saiyaman! Sure he lacks Rider Kick & later he's not using his helmet & change it into bandana & sunglasses, but if we talk about nostalgia & iconic, TGS is definitely 1 of many

"According to Watanabe Kenji, Omegamon: Merciful Mode was conceptualized for "Our Future" to serve as a kaishakunin to end Ordinemon's life. In the game Super Robot Wars Alpha 3, RaiOh and DaiRaiOh is heavily inspired by Kamen Rider. Reference include a Crimson Scarf on its neck and a powerful flying kick as its special move. Also in Super Robot Wars Original Generations series the mobile suit Gespenst S has a flying kick as its special attack also when that mobile suit is piloted by the likes of Excellen Browning they even shouting out its attack name when they will execute the skill.

By which I mean it references _Kamen Rider W_ and another _Rider_ series (the playing cards shown are very clearly based on the Rouze Cards from _Kamen Rider Blade)_ #2: an obscure reference from _Kaguya-sama: Love is War._ One of Shirogane's political rivals at the beginning of Season 2 is named Hayato Hongo. Not only does he share his surname with Takeshi Hongo (Kamen Rider 1), but he also shares his given name with Haato Ichimonji (Kamen Rider 2).

To add to this list, Pokemon included a Kamen Rider reference in the most recent main series games, Scarlet and Violet. One of the new Pokemon they introduced in these games was Nymble, a Bug type based on a grasshopper. At level 24, it evolves into Lokix, a Bug/Dark type which retains the grasshopper theme, but is more bipedal than its preevolved form. Looking at its design, you can definitely see this line as a whole is a homage to Kamen Rider.

The scene from Gravity Rush with the double Rider Kick even looks a lot like the scene from Reiwa the First Generation where Sogou and Aruto swapped places before landing the kick and sliding to pose. I've only ever seen Heisei to Reiwa so I'm not sure if that was common in the Showa era, but I think that's a cool coincidence
