I think I may get one of these Fusion Pro 2300kv for my single speed Traxxas TRX4 Sport, which is currently running a stock Traxxas motor, and a Hobbywing 1080 ESC.

I think you will enjoy the change. I am planning to install the Fusion Pro 2300kv on my Element Sendero SE or Traxxas TRX-4 2021 Bronco...still trying to decide.

Fully agree. 1800kv is good enough, but 2300kv will be a better option.

Yes, you can. The program card with Fusion Pro on the right is actually an extra 1080 card that I had lying around. I just installed the sticker so that I can remember the program options. For my next video, I will provide what I think are the recommended crawler settings for it, so stay tuned.
