I have a feeling Evolving Skies will outpace bitcoin in the next 10 years. I've only began loading up booster boxes during the sun and moon era till now. Crimson invasion and guardians rising were $60 a booster box. I bought in 2017. Now over 350USD. Almost 5x. I've been in stocks for 25 years. Amazon shares have been up 10x in 15 years or so. Stocks and bitcoin are risks. Pokemon and cgc graded comics have way more potential and quite stable.

Bought a whole case to hold for 1200 bucks but ended up opening 7 boxes….I did end up pulling a god pack with the Venusaur and Charizard SIR, so I guess it was a good call to open that many???

I haven’t been buying anything just waiting for 151 reprint, I was gonna buy 2 cases of booster boxes and if they restock poke center ETBs I was gonna get another 4 as well. The Japanese box is pretty cheap though I could probably pick 2 up. I also have to buy atleast 2 cause if I only have one I don’t want to sell it in the future 😂

VStar Universe is a crazy good set. One of the best 3 sets of all time. The gold cards, the charizard vs mew, the AR subset. IT has infinity things to love.

@@pokene_pokemonI'll buy 151 wrapped boxes for €60, it's a good price still. It's around €69 on European Cardmarket + €5 shipping. Have not dropped below €60 besides big quantity discounts and it is a good idea to keep a few boxes on the shelf for a couple of years in my opinion.

Unpopular opinion: as the market continues to crash as unemployment and housing inventory skyrockets and crash, most if not all pokemon singles and sealed product will crash semi-permanently, meaning for a 10-year period minimum like it did in 02. Evolving Skies and Team Up are the posterchildren of the artificial FOMO rise in values, so I genuinely see those crashing at the largest percentages. I'd estimate sealed Evolving Skie box to hit $250 again and Team Up somewhere around the $400 mark, by next year.

@@Robdoespokemon People call it doom and gloom, but I bought a home in 2009 for 65% off 2007 values 1 mile from the beach in Florida just by looking at the math. Homes in 2007 were 4.9X the median income. Today, they're 6.8X the median income here in the US and I know this is a global phenomenon because all of our governments handed out roughly equal amounts of "free" money in 2020-2021. We're all in the same bubble, and Germany, Japan and China are leading the charge in that they've already declared catastrophic unemployment and recession. We're all just a step behind them.

In the eBay ad, they were marked as unopened or sealed, but when they received them, they were loose packs, and the buyers received a refund because it was not in the description
