Chimera went from looking like an ISD1.5 with ISD2 guns, to looking like an ISD1 with ISD1 guns and an ISD2's tractor targeter. Really wish some of the CGI budget on the battle damage had gone to giving us actual Octuple Barbettes so the entire Imperial fleet isn't permanently stuck with clones of the Rogue One Executrix using doubles in literally everything but rebels (Which has the opposite issue)

This is a great point, and Vernestra taking a huge role in the bureaucracy would be the perfect way to symbolize how the Jedi and Republic failed to maintain separation of church and state, which ended up corrupting and weakening both.

I can say this, no Multiversal operative would love working undercover as the Supreme flipping Chancellor on such a bland era of the Star Wars universe. Indeed, they're more likely to do that for the post-Sith-Imperial War era in Legends.

@@everettjohnson9374episode 3 and 7 required some **strong** suspension of disbelief. Why does Torbin rush in like Leroy Jenkins? Because he misses Coruscant? Why does the lesbian space mom transform into a scary shadow monster in the middle of a tense situation, get stabbed, and then be all like "oh I was just trying to release my daughter to you, which obviously requires me to turn into a smoke monster"??????????? How does a stone castle get burned to the ground? Why does un-possessing a wookie Jedi kill *all* the witches? Huh? How is Torbin able to deflect like 9 bow and arrows at a time? Why didn't the witches firing said bow and arrows flank him? Why not use a Colt .45 instead of stupid bow and arrows?

@@TheVeritas1 No he wasn't. He said to Sol, "You might call me a Sith." Also, the show still isn't about the Sith. Out of the 7 episodes 5 are spent fighting and chasing a Sith acolyte or Sith around. 2 are flashbacks meant to make us understand how one sister became the acolyte and why the other is going to turn. @@conscientiousobjector5988 Offscreen yet pretty destructive event caused by Ra's al Ghul and his Society of Shadows in the DC Animated Universe. Thankfully stopped by the Justice League Unlimited and a defecting Talia al Ghul, though one can suspect it was at a heavy price, like the possibility of places like Gotham City needing mass reconstruction, leading to its Neo-Gotham status at least 30+ years later in Batman Beyond. In short, real good stuff, but it's a shame it's only worth a lot of fan speculation and not official fleshing out just yet.

I’m reading Star Wars: Thrawn: Alliances, and Anakin just fought droids made with armor that was weaved with cortosis, and it did the same thing. It clicked for me there that that’s what the helmet was made of. Although in this book, the armor was doing the same thing to blaster bolts, so the armor should be useful against more than just lightsabers

I don't think there is any direction with this. Scenes and reshoots without proper editing can often lead to characters having one direction and then doing something completely different that doesn't mesh with the next two scenes. As a result, characters will be completely contradictory to what they were intended to be.

Qimir is giving her the illusion of choice. Just like when he presents himself completely defenseless in literally the most vulnerable position a human can be, and gives her the opportunity to kill him, he knows that the Jedi teachings she has forbid her from doing that. He gives her the illusion of being able to leave but knows she won’t, at first because she wants to bring him to justice but later because she is intrigued by what he’s saying and knows Sol lied to her. In reality, she is just as trapped as Mae. But the prison she’s in is one of doubt in her Jedi teachings and in her father figure who she knows is keeping secrets about the incredibly traumatic events of her childhood, something that Qimir is using to his advantage. When you look at it, Qimir and Palpatine actually both use very similar tactics to coerce their padawans in Anakin and Osha. Makes me wonder if Qimir had this done to him in the past as well.

I think it also speaks to how the dark side is very inviting and alluring at the surface level, while the way of the Jedi comes off as very rigid and restrictive. I also think it speaks of the failings of the Jedi Order that in part contributed to the fall of the Republic, which didn’t happen overnight. In this last episode we see an early example of how the Order is being influenced by the Senate and by public opinion rather than following the Jedi code and maintaining balance and whatnot.

This is actually why I take Vernestra Rwoh at face value when she talks about political enemies and fears for the Jedi. And we as the audience know that it leads to the Jedi of the prequels who begin to lose faith in the order like Dooku.

@@siovgaming2674 And it's not very long before the prequels. One hundred years in Star Wars time isn't very long, when the history of the Jedi is thousands of years and there are Jedi who live much longer than a century. Dooku will appear in 50 years or so. So, this is easily within the period of decline.
