Thank you for this. I have been trying to figure out which role would be best suited for me. Your summarization of the NP and CRNA role helped me understand what’s best suited for me.

Hey Patrcik, Thank you so much for this information. It was super smooth and peer-talk-like. I just loved it. Happy New Year, by the way!!

Hi!! do CRNA schools go by your program grading scale or by what you scored on the course? In my program a 93.8 is an A- a 92 is a B. I’m not sure how CRNA schools calculate Applicants GPAs

Im so motivated today to start my ICU job this week on the road to CRNA after working in the OR for 4 years as well as a 1099 employee. I was nervous and really needed a boost. The plan is to still maintain my 1099 while working my W-2 in ICU. I needed motivation bad as you can see. THANK YOU!

An ICU nurse in school said something like “mind your drip”. Won’t walk away until you see the first drips. Even knowing this I’ve made the mistake of leaving a piggyback clamped a handful of times.

Even being a w2 employee with benefits, I believe in the power of a CPA. Because their job is to literally help you screw over the IRS. And the PTO request is me TELLING you iWILL NOT be at work during that time!!!

If you are W2 there is only so much you can do to lower your tax liability so I dont personally think its worth it

I am good at being a student😅😂😂 i got 4 supernumerary shifts and start independently next week, never did a single icu placement. This is very helpful, I am definitely living on prayers rn. Hopefully, I'll feel better with time. I like the goals thing. Is it too little to have goals to understand a section each day?

Hey thank you for the in depth, well-articulated video. I’m working on passing my nclex but a goal of mine is becoming a CRNA. I’ve always been intimidated by the icu however that excites me to do it even more. I don’t have a lot of experience in healthcare aside from my clinical experiences. Here are a few questions that I have. Do you have any recommendations on gaining information specific to the icu? What positions would you go for before even applying for the icu? Did you feel comfortable after orientation and if not how long did it take you before you were? Thank you for your time.

Great video! I start crna school in May and I’m definitely interested in 1099. is this something they teach you during school or you learned this on your own? And if so, do you have any books or resources I can use to also equip myself with this wealth of knowledge you have? 👀
