Love! Love! Love, the comment about “Stop asking if CRNA school, is hard!” Nothing in life worth having, comes easy. You’re so right, Patrick! If you really want to do something and going into it, you know it’s hard… you’d better be ready for the work needed to accomplish that. (There’s a better way for me to have phrased that 🤪). But seriously, love this video! Planning on taking the journey myself someday 🙏🏾 God willing 🙏🏾 Anyway, keep up the good work my friend… Stay strong 👊🏾

Hey Patrick, About to start my first year of CVICU at a level one trauma hospital in my city and start preparing for CRNA school. I am having a small amount of anxiety for my GPA. My first degree GPA was a 3.2, Nursing school 3.3, and BSN 4.0 this places my cumulative GPA right at 3.5. Do I need to take Organic Chem and retake a few science classes I got a C in when I first started college? And lastly is this a good GPA for schools or will I be getting beat out by other applicants?

Hey Chris, congrats on starting in the CVICU! Cumulative looks great, you may want to consider taking Cs over , especially science classes. Definitely start forming a line of communication with the schools you’re interested in. Since you’re still pretty far out from applying I would retake those Cs on the undergrad level first to get As in them, abs maybe 1 grad level science class. Don go overboard without seeing what the school even wants! Great question

@@theCRNADrip Thanks for the quick reply and very excited to start in CVICU! I figured I would have to start with retaking the science classes I got Cs in. I will get it done!

How did you decide which CRNA schools you wanted to apply to ?
@theCRNADrip3 жыл бұрын
Going based off what school I could apply to that I didn’t have to do anything extra at the time, such as take a extra class or anything else that I didn’t have

Did you have to take any extra pre reqs after you got your BSN. I graduate with my BSN this December and am wondering if it would be a good idea to take O Chen or something
@theCRNADrip3 жыл бұрын
I would start by applying to schools that don’t require you to take anything extra. If it’s a school you’re just set on and they require any additional classes then go for it! I didn’t have to take anything additional though for multiple schools

How about housing? Do you own or rent? Solo vs roommates?
@theCRNADrip3 жыл бұрын
I usually do Airbnb or Furnished Finder. I typically live by myself. I have had roommates with my classmates before during my first clinical rotation. Biggest thing was that I have my own bathroom lol. This rotation I’m by myself
