I tried King's Field today, the experience was stress inducing. Why is the left and right strafing connected to the camera? The turning is sooooo slow. Edit: I added a patch that makes the controls more intuitive. I will keep the turning slow since its supposed to be a key aspect of the experience.

I was steam rolling through the first chapter. I didn't struggle with the helicopter at all. The boss at the end of chapter one is a huge barrier for me. I have tried numerous builds. I'll keep plugging away until I beat him.

ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN sure looks crazy... They even added guns... On a serious note I wish FromSoft would start adding more unique arena gimmick bosses like the moving chess pieces boss here or that bullet-hell boss.. Also the puzzles and traps are very creative...

"Enemies with a chain of 7 attack in a row" are actually a great opportunity to farm perfect parries for a quick stagger. Like, yeah, you can circle around them to skip the whole thing. Or you can git gud. I was CRAVING for 1st phase Laxasia to start her longest attack chain so that I'd match her rhythm and get her healthbar white by the time she finishes.

Overthrown shows that both Minecraft and Terraria could have had such amazing combat and movement tech... Also Metal Ananas should know by now that even FromSofts games have a lot of Gooner-bait not only games like AI Limit... Also is not Mohrta closer to POWERSLAV FPS metroidvania then a Souls-like??? Shows that Ananas should play more games, from more variety of genres then boring Souls-games.

Reguarding overthrown; Small indie team. Extremely active on TikTok, have implemented multiple fan suggestion's. But based on reviews, the current early access is greatly lacking content, and it's buggy. Im gonna keep an eye on it, been watching the devs TikTok for over a year, but definitely gonna wait for content.

The poison thing is kind of a lie, if you roll you only get level one poison but if you just walk you get level 2 poison, level 2 poison does a lot more damage. Same thing with rot.

The impending truth from deathbound is almost a 1-1 with the titanite demon from ds1. The attack animations look incredibly similar and the way it drags itself around is obviously inspired by it if not pulled from ds
