I'm trying to get into AKs. I want a proper 762x39 AK47. If you could recommend a buy once cry once AK47 what would it be? Underfolder or side folder? I'd like to utilize a T2 or EXPS with some way to mount a Modlite or Surefire. I'm looking at Arsenal SAM7R but really don't have much experience with the AK platform.

I never liked kusa. 1400 for a 101 😂. Especially with kusas quality issues for lack of a better term. Building my ak with a wbp jack since ive never heard anything bad about them and they're priced very well. I'd love a slr 106 but I don't have money like that.

I have a KP104, so its sad to hear... its a great piece...

KUSA had promise and potential, but they only offered AK 103's and Saiga esuqe shotguns and the KP9... the AK 104's were trash. Like they didn't have much in the way to offer.

Really if you want to get more realistic, you should be going “bang, click, reload, charge, bang” instead of “bang, reload, charge, bang” since the Kalash doesn’t have bolt lock and you probably wouldn’t realize you were empty until the click in real life.
