I hate that I'm just now at 28 trying to change my thinking patterns. I've had crippling anxiety and panics since 7 and they've gotten in the way all my life and now at 28 I'm trying but I know it doesn't happen over night. Wish I could've started earlier!

Cognitive restructuring isn't supposed to be positive. In order for it to be effective it needs to lead to thoughts that are less negative, but at least as accurate and preferably more accurate, while still being believable

I was crying as I was watching this because I might actually be depressed and I’m too young to get help for it and I’m too scared to tell my parents and I do self harm bye cutting my arms and I have had many suicidal thoughts I just wanna die I know the world will be better without me

You are right movement of any kind helps tremendously. I've started doing stretching and yoga 🧘‍♀️ every morning. Just this one thing helps so much to lighten the heaviness i normally feel. Thank you 😊
