Many keepers have reported that bamboo can grow mold quickly in more humid enclosures. However, this can be mitigated with cleaning or a bioactive clean-up crew.

for the one that comes with a free crested gecko about what age will the gecko be?

It will be a juvenile crested gecko, so less than a year old!

The large dish holds enough weight for two large leachies

It sure does! Though, we wouldn't suggest using it for leachies since it doesn't hold enough Pangea for them!

I have a question what is the difference between the regular Pangea crested gecko food and the breeding and growth version bc I’m looking to get one and if the breeding and growth one actually has a difference then I will get it
@RealPangeaReptile6 күн бұрын
Thanks for asking! The Growth and Breeding formula has higher levels of protein and fat from insect sources, as well as the maximum calcium levels recommended for a crested gecko. These differences exist to promote growth in young geckos, and to help breeding adults stay healthy.

what do his parents look like?
@RealPangeaReptile8 күн бұрын
We actually don't know what his parents look like since the breeder he originated from didn't keep good records. That being said, we do know that genetically, he's a strong yellow tiger, so it's very likely that his parents were both yellow tigers as well.

It's possible, but we would recommend feeding live insects as well if you can. Live insects add variety to their diet, and provide them enrichment from hunting.

@RealPangeaReptile6 күн бұрын
Apologies for the delayed response! We've found that fig and insect by far has the highest feeding response, followed by "with insect" and watermelon. We would also recommend reaching out to your breeder and seeing what they fed your gecko before your got it!

@RealPangeaReptile21 күн бұрын
Opinions on isopods with tarantulas seem to be mixed. Springtails seem to be the safest bet as a clean-up crew, and dwarf white isopods appear to be safe, as long as you don't intend to breed your tarantula.

So for Schneider Skinks which I already use the Arcadia LumenIze T5 12% should I use the powersun 100w or better off using a halogen one ?
@RealPangeaReptile26 күн бұрын
Since you already have a fantastic UVB bulb for them, we would recommend going with a halogen for heating. This will give you more flexibility, since you can use a thermostat to dial into the exact temperatures your skinks will need!
