Hey James. Another bus nut here. I have always been a "motorcoach watcher". I am a semi retired 49 year veteran school bus driver in Pa. My dream was to retire early and drive a motorcoach but that dream kinda blew by and i feel its too late for me now. Anyway, just wanted to let you nkow how much i enjoy your videos. Always interesting to me. I can tell you really enjoy what you do and are a true professional. Thanks for the entertainment. Stay safe out there.

Ev buses are a big mistake right now since there's no infrastructure for them to charge. Diesel is the way to go. The whole ev thing is something we're not ready for.

Here in Auckland, New Zealand, our city bus network is compiled of multiple operators, mainly NZ Bus, Go Bus, Howick & Eastern, Ritchies, Pavlovich Coachlines, Tranzurban and Waiheke Bus Company, all operating under the AT Metro brand of Auckland Transport (part of the Auckland Council, a government regional council for the Auckland Region, its all complicated). Each operating company has their own fleet numbers and systems and they each have their own prefixes, usually the most prominent 2 letters, NZ Bus = NB, Go Bus = GB, Howick & Eastern = HE, Ritchies = RT, Pavlovich = PC, Tranzurban = TR, Waiheke Bus = WB. Each company usually numbers their buses according to the bus model ie. NB4001 is an 2011 Alexander Dennis Enviro 200, HE502 is a 2016 Alexander Dennis Enviro 500, PC4001 is a 2013 Alexander Dennis Enviro 500 and TR3550 is a 2018 tri-axle double deck BCI Citirider. With this in mind, there are many inconsistencies and may not make sense sometimes, even for me as an Aucklander! There's a good website (atmetro.fandom.com) that has good info on Auckland's bus network and public transport in general.

The head unit alone is $400 AMFM Bluetooth CD DVD player. I might get one for my car it’s probably durable and more reliable than the touch screen one I wanted to buy. lol awesome video.

Hi James, I saw on the video explaining all the dashboard buttons that some coaches have a fire suppression system. I'd love to learn about what they do. Engine only, or in the cab? Thanks.

The 40 foot range looks more proportional for that north american wheelbase configuration. The design of this new MCI model is the paradigm shift for north american motorcoach we’ve all been waiting, maybe not everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s a good start.

Anyone know if Volvo is planning to update the US/Canadian version of the 9700 anytime soon? It's looking a little dated compared to the competition.

This has not aged well. "This, we do not forgive or forget." Certainly a sentiment shared by anyone dumped off a 'hound at a gas station in the 'hood in the middle of the night. Left to wait for another bus that may never come

No body wants to be behind a bus, semi, box truck, lifted truck because they cant see the road and react to whats happening in the distance. If people used cruise control it wouldn't be so bad.

Hi Your video have been of real help to me thanks alot There is a problem am facing in my transport business. My drivers kinda like take the vehicle out for public transport but then they are to remit my portion to me after a days work but that's where the problem is they take the vehicle out, run it for a whole day and won't pay. They'll just be giving you different complain some would not even return the vehicle to the park. So what i would really need your help with is, is there any way i can run it and have control over the money passengers pay ? Then by month end i could then pay the drivers. Pls assist

The very idea of a *new* prison bus is not a good one. They should be getting hand-me-down school buses, and told to be grateful they're not being asked to transport prisoners in their personal cars.
@MotorcoachWorld9 күн бұрын
Thank you for your opinion. Personally, what you are suggesting does not make me feel very safe as a resident of where ever prisoners are being transported in personal cars or hand me down school buses. As a bystander, myself and I'm sure many others would sleep better at night knowing that prisoners are being transported in equipment designed to keep them contained and secure.
