Brands will come and go Pick what suits your taste in design and when possible get good quality. All the cheaper named brands like Coach-Kate spade-MK etc Are just as good as LV-YSL and other 2000k+ options. I care solely about design. I like simple and timeless so I find that those brands and even cheap target designs are better for me than anything that’s truly “luxury fashion” like LV,YSL,Gucci, balenciaga (which I find pretty ugly most of the time) I use my lululemon belt bag the most I have a coach that was $60 A kate spade that was $96 Another Kate spade that was $112 I also back cheap mini backpacks I use from Amazon and a north face mini borealis I use. All good enough I found a nice MK I might get as well either the small Hamilton or small Emilia all good enough

I truly miss the simplicity and elegance of Halston's designs....and Ultrasuede. I did my senior menswear fashion project (I attended Pratt Institute from 73 to 77) in Ultrasuede. I wore the suit well into the 80s. I was also fortunate enough to secure a white Ultrasuede 'safari' jacket (that I'd wear with a navy blue silk shirt and navy blue raw silk trousers). Needless to say, you can't find that kind of elegance any more.
