I've had this amp for a while and on multiple different subs and I'm pretty impressed with it. I've had numerous mainstream amps and this one ranks right up there with all of them.

I’m not sure where your from but in Australia, no they are worth it because you can find them 2nd hand way cheaper then the cost to repair

This amp will run .66ohms with good electrical. I ran 3 L7 12 4ohm dvc ran parallel and hit 154.3db in a 88 300z. Ran it 4 3 years.

Yes but that’s a reactive load,dynos work at resistive load So wiring your car to 0.6ohm would be 1.4-2ohm after box rise

You're going to want a six Channel amplifier for that. I'd recommend the Alpine R-90S. They aren't that expensive on the used Market. Not only does it allow you to run channels 3 and 4 in a bandpass configuration, but it's also a staggered power amp. Channels 5 and 6 have double the power of channels one through four. So it's great to use the lower power channels for tweets and small mids and then the higher power channels 5 and 6 on some bigger mid bass drivers.

This is the video I needed to see! I'm currently running the dii400.4 in my daughter's power wheels jeep on a pair of recoil 6.5 coaxial and a pair of recoil 4" coaxial @ 2 ohm on the front 2 channels and the rear channels are bridged on a rockville 8" shallow mount sub. But we just got sponsorship from Savard Audio and a local shop, so planning to replace everything and move up to 8 speakers and 2 6.5 subs. So I was thinking of upgrading the amp to the dii1100.4 for mids/highs and running a Kenwood xr601-1 amp on the subs. Thanks for the video!

For a company that made a decent subwoofer. Their amplifier quality was garbage, would blow for no reason, and their ratings were nowhere near as advertised.

This amp wired to .5 puts out more than double it 1 ohm rms rating my buddy ran 2 of these on 6 15 inch subs and did a 154 db he might have did a 156 burping the amp at its peak frequency . This amp is no joke whatsoever its a complete power house.

@@bdaudio9395 - I just looked @ a Teampie 5500, the internals Look identical, as well as the clip button, rca, amp adjustments, & the triple power inputs. The only difference is the heatsink.

Each one of those transformers are good for about 1 thousand RMS + on the light side so that amp should be doing at least 8,000 RMS at 1 ohm this amp should do lower than 1 ohm no issue woulda been nice to see that in the Dyno lower ohm loads.

Kicker always makes the grade on their amps. Their old stuff was always better than rated. I had swapped out an old Autotek 75x4 with a Kicker impulse 25x4 (while the autotek went out for repair) and that impulse smoked the autotek 38 ways from Sunday in sound quality and power.
