Cool vid as usual. Gotta say though, most annoying music ever, 🤣. I had to mute it. Anyway, customizing is what it is all about. It's cool you showed it can be done without a lot of high dollar fancy tools. Patience helps, too. Keep the vids coming.

I know, haters gonna hate. But it needs to be said. It's a really dumb idea. You do realize what that thing does, don't you? You have whittled it away to nothing. I have seen them break on dirt bikes before and it's not a good look. Like you say at the end of the video, they are only cast aluminium.

@@kepamurray1845 it’s not. There is still more than enough clamp left for it to fine and strong.

What are the odds? I’m in the same stage for my custom KZ550. I’m keeping the bar clamps so I didn’t need to cut anything, just sandblasted and wire wheeled because I love the brushed look too. I’m curious for your next videos on how to tackle the gauges because that’s my next step!

Try changing the angle of your grip. You will have an easier time hanging off. Otherwise looking good. Aftermarket clip ons is a good investment.

Any reason why you went for Nylon 6? as it's like 10 times more hygroscopic compared to 12. Asa would be a solid choice but that is not for SLS/MJF process

So, no info on selecting the resistor to vary current/voltage….and you show only a 12v led….but most red leds aren’t 12v, but consume around 2 volts, or multiples of 2v for more leds wired together. Would have helped people better to include the dropping resistor value using ohms law to calculate a value that gives adequate brightness and max longevity, keeping values within spec.

You got it, just take your time, understand torque specs, make sure your cam timing is correct, piston directions, piston ring spacing and orientation, get a valve job done, understand how to set your cam chain adjustment and your ignition timing.

Kyle, I bought a CB550 where the previous owner did dual front disks brakes but the stock speedo drive does not work. He just didn't have a speedo on the bike. Can you post what speedo sensor set up you use? Do you have a video on how to set up that speedo sensor you used on this bike? I can't find anywhere how to use stock speedo gear on a dual disk set up. I'm going to buy your 3D printed brake line clips too. Thanks in advance.
@kylevara4 ай бұрын
I used the speedo sensor that comes with a M-Unit or the Motoscope Mini. The stock speedo gear drives a rotating cable that is used to translate speed on a mechanical speedo. These are big and bulking. Using a digital speedo is much more streamline. I can into more detail in a video Forsure!
