The point of a cafe racer is to be minimal in design and remove as much weight as you can.

+Damien333 Not exactly. But you're almost on the right track. The point of a cafe racer is to remove as much extraneous parts and weight as possible so that in the end you have a clean, streamlined, yet *functional* motorcycle. Fenders and indicators are part of that basic functionality. These parts can be chopped down and minimalistic also, but nobody looks cool walking into a bar or cafe with a face full of road grit and spray...

Although I do think that you have some misguided preconceptions about cafe racers. Do a quick Google image search for the term "cafe racer" and then get back to me with your *updated* figures on how many of them are lacking fenders. Honestly I have no idea why you're even trying to argue this point, though. My original post was merely an innocuous question to the KZbin poster about the build pictured here, and suddenly you pop up with your apparent encyclopedic knowledge of all things Café to try and start a discourse of what does or doesn't quantify a true cafe racer...
