I just bought me one this last weekend, took the store sights off and dropped a dot on it. Took it to the range today to zero it. It didn’t happen though, the dot was traveling up the rail during my time there. I had to redo the dot placement and resecure it differently. It’s not moving now. Back to the range. Not getting anywhere near the advertised shot count either, but I am running 30 gr barracuda’s. Two very good mags for sure, no different than what my HP SS puts out with the same pellets. They just run a little hotter out of that one.

I bought one of these on a whim maybe a month ago. I have been pretty much pleased with it. Was playing around on the web this morning and found your trio of videos on the Tri Strike. I can say you are pretty much spot on! I did add a reflex sight to mine about a week ago. The fun factor, and accuracy, increased by about 100%. Completely removed the factory sights . Dont really need them with my old tired eyes. And you can not add too much bow string wax, just rub it in good. I also wax my rail before every time i shoot it, and any time that it looks like the wax on the rail is getting thin. I also bought the Titan stuff from Walmart, but i always have chapstick in my pocket and more often than not, that's what it gets. I have been into archery for over 50 years. A shoulder injury now prevents me from enjoying traditional archery, it just hurts too much. I transitioned to the dark side kf archery (crossbows) because of this injury some time ago. I picked up one of the Cobra style 80# pistol crossbows for small game (yes, legal here) and it has proven effective to some 15 yards. I will not be hunting with my Tri Strike, but i think that i just might replace my current Cobra style pistol crossbow with the Barnett Demun Pro. BTW, i subscribed.

495 nice but probably only with plastic BB's or maybe very light pellets plinking only self defense well as you say something's better then nothing smooth bore barrel, that kills it for me

Do you know what size the back of the adapter is? I'm trying to find something to simply plug it and not have an on and off valve constantly sticking out when I'm not using a canister but I can't figure out what size I would need

I and several others online have been ordering grimburg v3s and been getting packages marked.684, but the balls are all .680. I'm not going to complain because sterling makes a .680 61/4 inch barrel for the pistelle x-68 and I'm hoping to get a perfect bore match, if it is a little tight I will hone/ polish it a bit to get the perfect self defense hard hitter!🧨🧨🧨⚡⚡👍👍

I had trouble from dealing with Nxwerks direct for 3 weeks for 2 blown plastic orings. They never sent replacement out , mcs never sent out either I’m returning mine before 30 days up . Also Nxwerks phone numbers are disconnected. I made vid on it . That launcher has defects and Nxwerks acknowledged that there orings were recalled . I’d return it before its to late brother! Also there isn’t any difference mercury rise took a crate of those unauthorized from mcs. That’s what mcs told me , and the pistelle x-68 is same as the introbuster same exact item by same company Nxwerks.

Well you saw my videos on it I agree there's room for improvement, I have a return ticket but I'm holding off, I talked to MCX where I purchased it, they are sending me a new replacement O-ring well see if it still gives me trouble it's OUT! shot three separate mag's over 3 day's 3rd day it leaked air, so I only got to shoot it twice' I believe the air cylinder is made of brass or looks like it that's probably why people are having crows threading issues

hey bro , if these weigh 8 grams they must be 12.45 to 12.5mm's right ? the home defence -24 , home defense lol , is what , 12.6 to 12.65 , i like how how always used a c instead of a s in defense lol . i have measured some stock barrels on the umarex hdp.50 @ 12.8 and slightly larger !!! so i can see why the hd-24 tuning runs/barrels are so much better for closer bore matching , i would never ruin my tuning barrel by trying to shoot the common steel balls measuring 1/2 of an inch , i know some have done it lol , some also has reamed out the tuning barrel to better accept the 12.7 balls . the 1/2 inch steel balls weigh 8.53 grams !!!! i still have several hundred but only use them in my 1 out of my 3 hdp's with it being the only one with a stock barrel , @ 26 plus joules it is moderately effective, completely stock parts but slightly modified by me , lol , but my other one produces @38 joules , it has the ebay bought aluminum tuning barrel and hd-24 firing pin , and my 3rd one is the most powerful one at 42.22 joules , it has hd-24 tuning barrel and hd-24 firing pin ,the only one with the hex key cut out !!! for my tuning barrels i was lucky to find some 12.6 to 12.65 mm steel balls that weigh 8.39 grams , they work perfectly in the tuning barrels ! i guess if i had the 12.5mm's the ones that weigh 8 grams , i would apply 2 o3 three coats of clear paint to them to bring up the size to better fit the 12.65 mm tuning barrel , have you thought about doing that yet ? i been spraying ammo for paintball well over 30 years , when we had to proove our markers were set at 280 to 300 fps , i used just some smaller plain cheap ball lol , because my bore fitted balls were much more effective for range , speed and power !!! nice testing brother , nice power , very nice considering the steel balls used , i would love to see a side by side with the 12.65 mm steels weighing in at 8.39 grams , i bet your top joules would be closer to 38 or over , it would be interesting to see , you could even apply a couple of coats to 6 of them to bring up the size to be better bore fitted , please do this MR.LLC !!!!

Great test, il yet ti test my hdr50 13j , i also have torpedo revolver, hopely they hold up without any issues, i dont shot much, ima wait on pistelle, instrubuster because its already developed some issues, u have to by a seal kit to have extras plus greasing the firing bolt with the right grease is required or ita leak eventually, these smaller power requires less maintenance.

bro it don't matter with the higher velocity of the light rounds it will give you penetration and that will make it more lethal than heavier ones that won't penetrate. If you've ever been shot before in your life, you'll know penetration is key, because most people will be able to brush of the initial impact and energy dump, what makes penetration more significant is that the pain will be sustained and will get worse with every heart beat making the wound throb with more intense pain until emergency medical surgery is performed to extract the foreign object from the body, effectively removing the attackers will to fight and keep attacking.

bro please test out the Defense Innovations Glass/Jaw Breaker rounds weighing at 6.8 grams. I really wanna see what kinda FPS and Joules it's getting, also do tests on damage and penetration like on watermelons or phone books even ply board or 2X4 be creative instead of just shooting that boring kevlar, but yeah use different objects and most importantly chrono the speed in FPS. FPS is very crucial for overall effectiveness and if we can trust this with our lives
