Donors should have to undergo a basic genetic screening this can create a genetic profile that can be matched between fertility clinics to prevent multiple donors lying etc.

Bored, bored , bored. Yada, yada , yada. Very bias veiw of partners. I know loads of folk with supportive partners. So this is utter garbage. There is a difference between being a single mum when you have support and some money in the bank , and when you live in a one bedroom, damp, rented flat in Glasgow. You are on benefits and have no help whatsoever. Please people dont let this woman fool you. She must be loaded with all the cloth menstrual pads she made back in the day. She even won an award. My teeage kid used to follow her. However my kid is now a young woman and sees this for what it is. Dont be fooled. Being a single mum is hard work. I am sure she finds it hard at times. However i find her so condisending. I am a single mum on benefits. Her life is nothing like mine. Her advice is no use to me. I would love to see her try this in a damp council flat. Utter garbage

You dont have a baby face. You actually looked far much older than the age you are. Dont know your age so i will guess you are about 32.

Exactly! Why hate on women who were blessed enough to deliver how they planned to, and had positive experiences?

My best advice is going through Gaia, you get everything paid for to your clinic and if it doesn’t work you get 50% of the ivf back, if you do have a baby, you pay for the treatment monthly which makes it much more affordable

I started watching your videos on reusable menstrual products when I was in high school in China. There weren't places to buy menstrual cups at all and I had to go to Hong Kong to buy my first cup. Now I'm living in the UK, and still using reusable menstrual products! Your first video on being grey-ace was also the first time I heard of the term, and that was when I started suspecting I was asexual. Your videos changed my life in some way, and I'm so glad for it. I'm happy for the recent positive changes in your life! :)

Genune question... why does she need to wait for her child to wake up? Like, is it one of those places like childcare where children need to be awake when you drop them off? Can she not just wake him up before they go in? Is it like a social situation where they go to visit someone’s house? What’s the context?

I think this highlights the importance of attending mothers group and pregnancy groups. Speaking in person and having leaders in the group with medical backgrounds speak of this and can provide assistance and advice. Same as speaking with women with women going through things at the same time as you.

My eye doctor said that if I ever got to chose to get pregnant it would be preferable for me to get a C-section as my retina is a bit fragile and all the pushing is not good for it. And I remember getting so upset, because every young mother around me would always say that vaginal birth is so important for the mother, for the baby, that it creates some sort of special bong for the baby, to the point that it's good for their immune system and mental health. I am not even pregnant yet and I still felt robbed from an important experience. But hearing your story actually made me feel better. It's ok to have a C-section even without a medical condition, it's no less of a real birth than vaginal.

As a polyglot adult who never knew their bio dad's family and who is finally learning the language of my maternal grandparents, highly recommend introducing your kid to his donor's language and culture. I wish SO much my parents connected me to both of my heritages. Not knowing my bio dad's side at all has made me feel like an outcast in my own ancestrial lands and I honestly hate it. It's like a part of my body/genes are disconnected to my life experience. Just a little connection to my mum's side has given me at least some materials, so to speak, for my body and life experience to build a bridge when I was ready. For my dad's side...my body and life experiences are disconnected and even though I have experiences in my ancestrial lands...there is literally no building material to connect my experiences to my body/genes. It's hard to explain and incredibly confusing.

It's much easier to sound like a native and become fluent in a language you're exposed to before the age of 5. I would definitely recommend starting foreign language immersion ASAP. I would do it for as long as there is no push back. Exposure in the early years does wonders. The same golden period applies to music as well. Crazy benefits to starting music instruction by the age of 5-6. Of course, both foreign language and music studying are beneficial at all ages, but they do wonders if started by the age of 5-6. I love how thoughtful you are about making choices for him and limiting how much you show him on social media. Take care!

Aw congratulations on the new job Bree, how exciting!! 😍😍🥳 I have been following you for a super long time now; I think about nine or ten years at this point?! You were still making videos in your little bedroom, before you got your first flat. I binge-watched all your Precious Stars Pads videos and all your review videos too, to find myself a decent menstrual cup 😂 .....then began watching your more vlog-style videos, and actually found it encouraging when you were crippled with period pains, because I'd never come across anyone who struggled with it the way I did......you were a breath of fresh air in a sea of pretentious health-based videos at the time, and you encouraged me in more ways than you will ever know!! Wishing you and little Oryn all the best going forwards, and I look forward to any updates you might choose to share whenever you feel inclined to do so......I hope you enjoy your fresh start 😍🎈💖 Lots of love from Becki, 43, England UK xxx

I’m an ace in my 40s who has a toddler and has no intentions of looking for a partner. I am satisfied raising my little by myself❤ I had identified as lesbian in my twenties and thirties but the relationships…I honestly like the idea of a relationship but wasn’t obsessed like others. After that I was busy investing in myself to care about having a relationship ever again. It was in my 40s that all of a sudden I wanted a baby. I never wanted kids ever. So I went the IVF route and was so thrilled. I have help from parents and friends but most of the time I’m doing it solo. Plus I’m a Domestic Engineer aka stay at home mom. Not interested in having any type of relationship and find it hard to relate to other single moms that they’re constantly looking for a relationship. It’s a relief to see that I’m not alone.
