Jake -stands out in fast, powerful sections. this focus on power before dancer's technique has fully advanced has one problem -he has a lot of excessive tension and struggles with choreos that the rest of the group dances in a more relaxed and fluid way -he struggles with slow, elegant, soft moments and tries to "power through" -it’s a habit of jake to use more power than necessary -he cant always sustain the correct shape and placement Sunoo -sunoo knows how to dance efficiently and how to preserve energy -dances that are light and upbeat suit him more -his placement is clear and accurate -he has a good amount of lower body strength and mobility -he cant utilize powerful dynamics yet, which are an important element of enhypen's choreography Sunghoon -sunghoon has overall the best alignment in enhypen and the strength to execute difficult moves with ease -he moves in a light-footed, connected way -he can translate his movement (light-footed, connected) into the group's choreography in the form of flow -he has the best form during physically challenging movement -dancers with a background like his are used to wide, extended use of their limbs, which is why some isolated movement close to the body is difficult from him -he often struggles to keep a consistent level of energy and power throughout an entire performance Jungwon -jungwon is a groovy dancer -he is overall well-rounded and can execute different textures and dynamics, though energetic choreos suit him the best -he is one of the 3 most active enhypen members during their freestyle dance jams -enhypen as a whole have the tendency to dance in a collected and precise way when marking (not dancing full out) and free styling, but when they dance choreo for the camera, they put in a lot of excess force. jungwon is the most prominent case of this. he doesn't look grounded and individual moves arent defined -jungwon cant control when he finishes a move -it looks like he is drifting off and loses control in some movements, tension in his neck and shoulders -as he has solid technique otherwise, this habit is the one thing holding him back from advancing Heeseung -heeseung is a type of dancer who focuses on control and power. he has both the pros and cons of this type of dancer -his foundation is popping -he has advanced isolations -he knows the fundamentals of several popping styles and can play around with them (waving, tutting, animation) -these kind of dancers often avoid groove. heeseung usually has minimal or no groove and it makes some movements look unfinished or disconnected -control and power sometimes replace the efficient ways of moving and form can suffer. he gets into uncomfortable positions that can easily be avoided -he doesnt relax his torso and it can make relatively easy and simple moves look unnatural -his technique is one-sides. very impressive in some aspects but lacking in some ways Jay -jay is the best hip hop dancer in enhypen. his relaxed and calm way of dancing combined with flow gives him more flavour than most choreo dancers have -his lines and shapes are often impressive from a hip hop perspective -because of his relaxed execution, he can engage his head and upper body while doing footwork -during freestyling, he is focused on the music rather than on showing impressive moves and combos -his musicality allows him to catch different aspects and changes of the music while staying in the flow and mood of the song -his repertoire is not very advanced yet, but its promising -he often shines in chill and groovy choreos, as well as in stronger hip hop choreos -however, enhypen’s tension and angle based style doesnt suit him. while he executes the steps correctly, he doesnt use enough energy and power and it can look weak Ni-ki -what makes ni-ki fun to watch is his fluidity combined with strong accents and consistent high energy -this fluidity comes from his stylistic choice of frequently adding body rolls and using his upper body mobility -this fluidity especially suits emotional RnB music -despite his usually energetic style, he can adjust to different kinds of music. this ability to versatile approaches despite his young age likely comes from his previous dance background -he can add strength to moves without making it look like its too much -when it doesnt fit the music, he doesnt add such strong accents -he can dance challenging choreos that combine different skills while staying in his own style - Power: Karina Control: Winter Shapes: Ningning Angles: Winter Alignment: Winter Groove: Karina Fluidity: Giselle Winter’s Strength: Control Winter’s Weakness: Groove Karina’s Strength: Groove Karina’s Weakness: Alignment and Shapes Ningning’s Strength: Shapes Ningning’s Weakness: Control Giselle’s Strength: Fluidity Giselle’s Weakness: Control So for me winter shines out the most in fancams but karina and ningning steal the spotlight in dance performances because of their good stage presence. For me Karina is the best dancer in aespa but winter is not that far maybe both of them could be the main dancer, they both have different dancing styles but it’s up to you what style you prefer. So for ningning she is a good dancer and i think she shines at dancing moves that require more muscularity unlike winter, she excels all types in choreos in my opionion but isnt the best at it. So for Giselle i think she is the most improved member so far followed by ningning and winter but the only problem for giselle is she lacks control which is very important in dancing. In conclusion, all them are great dancers and it’s up to you which style you prefer.

You don't have to hate on someone like that. And she is on hiatus now so no one knows how improved she will be when she comes back. But please stop hating her and saying oh her dancing is bad and stiff like just shut up okay?

Jongho and Yunho are very technical dancers, except that yunho has a much better technique Hongjoong is a little messy at times, but executes his moves interestingly (help idk if that’s a word) Woo and Mingi have fluid moves and are generally really good. Yeosang is better with groovy moves like in Work he goes across the floor with the groovy move. San is lowkey aggressive but has good control seeing as how he goes so hard but is still in control. Hwa is very good with the musicality and feeling of a song/dance and knows exactly when to hit hard and when to let loose. Overall I wld put Hwa over Yunho because I would prefer style over technique (seeing as how hwa’s technique is also rlly good) but I feel that they’re both good, it’s just a matter of what you prefer and how you’re ranking them. Ok but seriously I could never be as good as them 😢I’m a dancer too but my style is much better than my technique hence my decision.

Frankly hard choreo like this damn near impossible to perform with live vocals. I don't blame Yuna for skipping a move

I feel like Yeji is the better idol dancer (more consistent angles, more power, generally executes their title track choreos slightly better), whereas chae is the better professional dancer (more fluid and has better open style groove).

I feel like Jongho debuted in Ateez because of his otherwordly voice. He's not that strong of a dancer nor does he consistantly play around with his facials like the other members do. I feel like if his voice wasn't as amazing as he was, I don't seem him having debuted with ateez.

while chaeryeong is technically a better dancer, ryujin has that natural expression and energy of a center. she definitely deserves her center in the dance break

As they say, Yunho is the definition of how the choreo should be Wooyoung and Yunho's dancing are the most memorable but as Wooyoung has more drastic movements than Yunho's step-to-step detailed one, people often don't notice Yunho enough As for Mingi - he's a main dancer as well but he hardly has his time to shine in the choreo (mainly as he has an entire verse to shine solo in his rap parts already though, which is understandable but he could get more centres in the choreo) As for facial expressions - San, Seonghwa and Hongjoong take the lead But Hongjoong's expressions dont have as much variation as the othee 2 As for Seonghwa - he has great expressions...but, idk how to explain...its more acting material than performance material San - i agree with the point here. I usually dont like when the expressions are too much but he is probably one of the best, if not THE best, performer in kpop right now (his dance skills are constantly improving and his expressions add the perfect vibe to the overall performance)
