doubt you'll see this since it's 2 years old but how did you get the rights to sleep walk by sambo and Johnny?! there's nothing in the description and it's not copyright free so how did you use it?

Personally I love your pacing, creativity, and vulnerability. These are the reasons why creators and consumers are changing. Life is already so fast paced, overwhelming, and empty for many people especially in the US. We are craving authentic connection and relatability.

This is by far my favorite educational video on marketing that I've come across. You're original ideas, storytelling, authenticity, and editing really shine. You truly were able to show a perspective on marketing that is easy to grasp and doesn't make me feel like I have to sell out or not be myself. I love how much of how you incorporated your personality in this vid. The Mac Photo Booth was a nice touch.

Just realized that marketing in your own way, for example making trailers or articles, depends on the audience you make videos for.. Making marketing in the formats your audience relates with will make the viewers like it and it makes sense for you. Not everyone should post tiktoks to market their work, it might instead be better to make a poster, or a trailer, or an article.. And the viewers will actually care about it because they relate with the content, even though it's marketing. Basically, different channels should have different format of marketing depending on their videos and vibe

That's a residency, the 3 days you spend with creatives. There are plenty of open calls similar to that, you probably know so Idk why I'm saying this. But.. one tip: Continue to go meet new people, try to apply for more bootcamps and art residencies like that. You will get to create more stuff and enjoy the community aspect of it

that umbrellas of cherbourg backing track build up at the end was chefs kiss
Marketing takes so much time tho, if I want to get sleep I only have maximum 3 hours every weekday and that’s barely enough time for music. This is my largest issue cuz I love all art and wanna make more around my music but there just isn’t enough time

No bitchin': YEARS ago, Mercedes-Benz shot a professional-grade national TV commercial seen by millions with an iPhone; your equipment. There's cable access TV; THEIR EQUIPMENT. There's learning STILL photography first; same composition, 3-light technique and choosing locations, etc. Also, once you have a short, use it as a video CV. EFF, film festivals! Ever check entry fees? Go forth. Thrive...

With my last project idk I don’t think I knew what or how to do The marketing …I still kind of don’t so much info out there and they say to post More Talk More but tbh I don’t know what I want To talk about (besides my music lol) like I’m trying to figure out how to build connection with my audience w.o feeling like I’m over sharing or Just sayin dumb stuff that isn’t relevant . With my next project I have more Of a clear creative direction so I hope it pays off and I’m able To do this more effortlessly

Like it or not, marketing is the most important (and hardest) aspect if you want people to see, enjoy, or buy your art. If it’s just for you that’s great but if you want people to enjoy it as well, market market market.
