I went to school with a kid in Scarsdale NY. his parents were friends with the Rolling Stones. and they played at his bar mitzvah. this is one of my fondest memories.

We were on a tour of the Firestone winery and watched a clean cut young man working a fork lift. Later he helped with wine tasting. He looked like your average Joe College. Actually he was working at the winery which was owned by his family, the Firestones. Later he appeared as the "Bachelor." If you did not know who he was you would just think he was an average college type. Yet his family has immense wealth. Old wealth.

My two biggest rules for when I win the lottery is: 1. Tell NO ONE 2. Do not engage in behaviour that will raise red flags. 3. If people do find out, automatically say "no" to all requests until you have a handle on your wealth. Number 1 won't work for everyone, I know. But you can always limit the number of people you tell. But don't be surprised if the people you thought you could trust with this information start blabbing it all over town. Money brings out people's true personalities and sometimes you might not like to see the truth in people you love and care for. Number 2 is a way of not casting suspicion on yourself. The people who know me would be shocked if I suddenly bought a Ferrari to drive (not that I ever would anyway). This would instantly raise questions about where my money came from and why I'm acting so out of character. And the logical conclusion would be "she won the lottery". So go about your business as usual but do things like pay off your bills or your mortgage and trade you old clunker in for a new car, but a modestly priced one. Something you could explain away as "oh it was an end of financial year sale and the dealership was practically giving them away with easy finance." In fact, don't even mention that you bought a new car until someone says something. You'd be surprised what people don't notice. Number 3 is easy. Say no to everyone, even people you want to give money to. Your money should be in your control at all times. And nobody has any right to it that you don't agree to. Saying no also shows the greedy ones you're no pushover. You'll probably lose friends and family members this way but it's an easy way of weeding out the wastrels and seeing who is really happy for you and who is just grubbing around for cash. But it's best to get used to saying no before you get tons of cash, just so it's not a burden when the time comes.

The rich are not the flashy ones , it is the rich psychopaths and narcissist people who are those that push the rich look..😊

What a dumb comment. You clearly didn’t watch the entire video, or English is your second language. The video never said you should never buy nice things

I have only one friend & he visits when he's found out my investment dividends have come in. We discuss finance & current events for about an hour, then he goes over to my wallet, takes cash out of it & leaves. ..:

You cannot revive the light of a friendship after the commission of innumerable crimes and acts of delinquency, even if you were in a psychotic episode when you committed them. The victim will develop instinctive defensive reactions against the culprit.
