I have it in my Mazda CX5 2.0 liter Skyactiv from 2021. It runs unbelievable smooth! You really 'feel' no diference between lpg or gasoline, even when starting up or switching over. It uses in my case in the summer, not driving more then 110 km/h, 9,1 at 100 km, plus less than 5% fuel use. Con: when I'am good informed, you need the Prinsdealer to change dry and wet filters(reset system).

The warranty is to be checked at the dealer level. Some OEM deliver LPG models from the factory like Renault/Dacia. Some provide it at dealer level. The Prins LPG system has its own warranty after conversion. It always needs to be double checked to not have a surprise afterwards.

Lpg has hotter combustion temperatures than petrol. Petrol has additives in it to protect the valves and valve sitting. Since lpg does not have these additives the engine runs without valve protection. And this accelarates the wear of the engine. This is what i understood. This product is an additive to coat the combustion chamber and valves to protector from the combustion process. So with that said, older more solid Motors wont suffer as much from this as newer more sensitive and fragile engines, but both are suffering wear if you dont use this additive. Hope this helps

If Prins (or any other LPG systems manufacturer) don't come up with a true reliable LPG system that uses car's original HP fuel pump and injectors of the DI engines, LPG is slowly and surely dying. Systems like VSI-3 are simply not economically viable in a lot of european countries. They are expensive (~2k euros) and in real world consume on average 1-1.5L/100km of petrol and 15-20% more LPG in liters than the original petrol consumption. The total consumptions coupled with high LPG price in some countries, push the break-even distance to more than 100k km if ever. In a clasical MPI system the break -even of VSI-2.0 could be less than 30k km. With VSI-3 break-even might never come. Alot of people complain of lack of true afordable DI LPG and Prins is insisting with VSI systems that is a 20th century solution for 21th century problem.

Would I need valvecare on a VW 1.4 TSI 150hp with cylinder turn off? I now use injector care when my petrol tank is 50% empty and drive on petrol till it is almost completely empty. I've also heard of nutshell blasting to clean the valves and inlets. My car has run 100k km on lpg now.

I'm just wondering what the warranty is like... Sure, there is a warranty on the lpg-installation and damage related to the lpg installation. In the case of a new car, bmw will void your warranty on the engine. So in the case of engine damage, what happens? Will this be an endless discussion between Prins and BMW (or any car manufacturer)? I'm aware that you make the best lpg systems and that lpg is a wonderfull fuell... The only thing that holds me back for the moment is a potential lack of service due to the conversion. It would be great if this could be clarified. Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for reaching out. As you mention we offer warranty of the LPG-system. We cannot take over the warranty of car manufacturer. Luckily we almost never experience this situation as we believe that our product is well developed and tested.

Hello, the software of the ECU depends on the vehicle. Fault codes can have multiple reasons, hard to tell from here. We advise to visit your local LPG installer/workshop.

Tolles Video. Aber Ihr solltet anmerken, dass Prins die Verwendung von Additiven in JEDEM Fahrzeug empfiehlt. Und ... Ihr solltet, bitte, Euer Additiv auch in einem 5l-Kanister anbieten. Dann wäre die Preis-Akzeptanz unserer Kunden bestimmt besser. Der große Behälter und die Möglichkeit der Fernbefüllung: sehr gut. Gruß Georg Ellrich, Technische-Dienste-Autogas

Thank you Georg. It is recommended for a lot of DI engines, but for some engines it is more important to use ValveCare than others. We use a 1L bottle because it is convenient to store in your car, and easier to refill compared to a 5L bottle. Kind regards, your Prins team

@@Prinsautogassystemen Danke für die Antwort. Das Argument für die 1L-Flasche verstehe ich. Die Kunden wünschen jedoch den 5L-Kanister, da sie die Hoffnung haben, dass es dann preiswerter ist. Die 1L-Flasche ist ein schönes Argument, hilft aber nicht, wenn der Kunde es dann überhaupt nicht haben will. Gruß Georg
