Ferrari 456 GTA V12 running on LPG with Prins VSI-2.0 system.

This Ferrari 456 GTA with 422hp is running on LPG with a Prins VSI-2.0 LPG-system.
VSI-2.0 is a universal bi-fuel LPG system, R115 approved and based on Vapour Sequential Injection.
This system is developed by Prins Autogassystemen B.V. in the Netherlands and supplied through a wide network of specialized importers and installers. For more information visit: www.prinsautogas.com.

the most sympatic was to couple the injectors with a plastic band and then to hear a final starting of the engine as if it happened to a car from a junkyard :)

It will put out less emissions thays the only way i can support lpg ferrari. I have a daily runner bmw x5 lpg, makes so much sense as a daily, but ferrari is an ocassion car.

What?? This is a 5.5 V12, a 2.0 L V12 would literally have rev up to redline all the time because it basically wouldn't produce any torque... This is a 5.5 L V12, the VSI2.0 indicates the autogas system that was fitted (probably stands for Vapour Sequential Injection 2.0, or something like that), which is basically just the standard, regular autogas injection.

Ja was denn? In Holland ist eh bei 130KM/H Feierabend.Da kann man ein tolles Auto fahren ohne teuren Sprit zu verbrennen.Es gibt auch Leute die einen Ferrari kaufen ohne 2 Mille im Jahr auf dem Konto haben zB Alte Modelle.Ist doch das selbe in der Mercedes oder BMW Klasse.Was nutzen Monster PS wenn die nicht gefahren werden können?Warum also diese Autos? Na wegen Liebe oder Statussymbol.Ist der Ferrari jetzt plötzlich schlechter weil er mit Gas befeuert wird? Sicher nicht! Man sieht es auch nicht das er mit LPG fährt.............Wer einen Doge Ram fährt nutzt auch LPG und die wenigsten feuern mit Echten Benzin,Da heult keiner.Aber wehe ein Bonzenfahrer macht aus seiner Kiste ein Sparauto.....Dann heul heul heul!

+benzfen why? the performance is near the same, the engine run smooter and pollution much lover...For information, the Rolls Royce from the Queen of Great Britain burn all LPG sinze 1998...

leneanderthalien I run cars on LPG over a decade, I know it has less Carbon dioxide and on theory it should give more power because it has high octane and I always wonder why car manufacturers offers so limited models with fabric LPG (nowadays almost non) Mass production could save huge amount of CO2... but yet - this is a Ferrari! It is not a car it is Art on 4 wheels :)
