Well me and Lea were just thinking perhaps other locations at Sherman Island. No doubt many more spots. Alas you may know it far better. So if it's most snaggy shorelines. Umm dang. heh yeah in the past we actually fished from that Pier. Only few times, crowded at times, and certain sections did have some snags. The location that had the least snags for Delta for us was Miller Park. Lucky even had some action there and pulled up a keeper. Thx for mentioning that Pier! Ken & Lea

I'm so with you on that! From research I've done they indeed are one of the smaller of the Sunfish/Panfish. Along with the Warmouth. Both have huge mouths compared to Bluegill. I heard also about their aggression, and often times attacking things larger than themselves. Of the 27 Sunfish we've only caught 5 types. Mostly Bluegill (around 3,000+), Red Ear (around 2,200+), Crappie (24), Warmouth (15), Green Sunfish (12). Omg they are SUPER CUTE! In a way that one Bluegill so calmly approaching my hand. I'd agree with being able to catch them any time of the year. Just to my understanding from research and other fishermen complied with my own experiences. That though you can always find that, at certain times of the year and fair amount of them will seek a change in the waters, temps, location. Hench the Striper Run. Many claiming, this is when many of your large ones are moving in schools, from Ocean, to the Bays and into the Delta. I'm always down for being corrected, when/if I'm incorrect. Namely being their job to do so. While for Sunfish such as Bluegill & Red Ear more likely to use a Drop Shot with a Red Worm. Or a Bobber. For Bass a Wacky Rig set up or a Drop Shot with a Senko/Robo Worm works well, Crankbaits and Top Water Frogs. Can also use Jerkbaits for Stripers or A-Rigs. Trout with Lures, perhaps Rooster Tails or Kastmasters, Fly/Bugs also on top water. Can also at times catch them on Clay or Egg/Worm Berkley Power Baits. Using a Carolina Rig. @@hershisadventuresincalifor9725 I get they have a job but there's no need to have a attitude. They're going to run into those people who don't care eventually and stuff is going to hit the fan. As for my recent experience I carry all my tackle in a backpack with two Plano cases one holding my weights and hooks and the other with lures. After asking for my fishing license this guy pulled out my two cases and asked if I have any weapon in there when you could see the bottom clear as day. He then proceeds to unzip my backpack all the way thinking I was not telling him the truth and then was like okay you're clear. I was nothing but courteous to him.

I admit I/others don't always get want we want. This indeed is a downfall of fishing. On the other side of the coin other hobbies I do, many I'm rather talented in. Some of which I'll be making KZbin channels for. Such as Snow Skiing, Poker, Canvas Painting, Martial Arts, Hunting & Auto/Track Racing. Two of which are already up and running. Another one or two will be up soon. If you like when it comes to hobbies of pure skill, well you'll be seeing those vids also. Such as the Advanced Slopes for Skiing, Professional level painting, Hand to hand combat, not to mention Poker on a level few dare to try. So if by chance you're still around in a bit... then feel free to comment on them. Though if you do, would be nice to see some proof of your word. Otherwise, it holds little weight, yes? I didn't start this. Just don't get if you're enjoying the videos why you'd come off so insulting. As normally I'd say it's an honor having you here. P.S. if you think anyone thinks you always catch hogs, think you'd only be fooling yourself. It just a childish thing to say so over the internet/in person mind you.

@hershisadventuresincalifor9725 27 күн бұрын
That would imply that I had knew what was in the water. I did not. That would also imply I was trying to target fish that were spawning. That would be incorrect. What I was doing was following a "rumor" that some type of "large fish" had been seen in the area. As we've seen the area before we found it hard to believe. So we set out to find out if there were. This was nothing more, nothing less. Even the DFG had no issues with anyone fishing the area. They spoke to at least 3 groups that day we saw. Including us. They were just checking to make sure everyone was legal and to make sure no one was intentionally targeting Salmon. We even referred them to the video. Their response "long as no one is targeting them. we've got no problems. It is legal to fish here and you have no control over what bites." After that we chatted for a few and they moved onto the next group fishing. On a side note, if you knew me well enough you'd know you're barking up the wrong tree my friend. I'm VERY concerned about the well being of the animals. I often with compassion release fish that are to be released. I take care when removing hooks and when hunting make sure every shot if possible is a one hit done deal. Also, I don't fish/hunt for personal pleasure. Sure enjoyable it maybe, but it's done for food in nearly every case. We also run this humble channel so consider it for content as well. Know this is long winded... but you misunderstand me. Ken

Oh you sound interested. You familiar with Texas Hold'em No Limit? Only "gambling" game I play. For good reason. I'm well I recon fairly-very versed in it. Played so many ways for so long. As to how, still working on it. However.... One I'm going to speak with a Casino I used to play at full time. I know the majority of the staff/players/dealers there. If they'd accept it camera would be at an angle as to not see faces. Less everyone gives consent. Also, MAY do some home games, also offer my experience/knowledge. Perhaps lastly... I sent a request from ClubWPT.com poker site. Which I've played on for years. To date my best finish was 2nd place out of 2,223 places. I'll show the records (payout stub also) on the channel if I do it. Your thoughts?
@hershisadventuresincalifor9725
@hershisadventuresincalifor9725 29 күн бұрын
Outside of possible Cash games in some Casinos, the main highlight is the main goal. On ClubWPT they have "Satellite" seats. Which means if I win the right Satellite Tournaments it's FULLY paid. These seats would cost $1,000 - $12,000 dollars. If one was to make the final table on one of those. Well recon you know the rest. In my years I've made MANY final tables, sadly never when the stakes were high. So if I can pull 1st place in a top Satellite, then pull a final table. Well think it'll be something worth viewing. So you all would watch my RISE or FALL to the Main Event Tournament. If CLUBWPT gives their blessing on that part of the channel. (my bad long winded there)
