An honor having you swing by the channel. Hope you both get some active days there also! Like the seeming limited snags there. Also, if it helps we have the videos in "Playlists" so you can view by Fish Type or Location. Few cooking recipes up there also. Thanks again for watching with us! Ken & Lea

Sweet right on! We just wished the larger ones were biting that day. Trip before that was the same spot but the Stripers were a bit larger! We just filmed the next video today, the location is a "Special Treat". Stunning views! We hope you're enjoying the videos! Tight lines friend.... Ken & Lea

I'm wondering Ron... why no bells while filming? My guess is you're referring to the noise of the bell on camera? If so... haha I totally agree with you! I personally dislike bells. But Lea likes using them and at times they've helped when really busy. Thanks about the vids comment! We actually have a new Episode coming in 1-2 days. It's kind of a special Episode. Lot of work to edit, but we hope you enjoy it! Ken & Lea

Greetings Johnny! You referring to the 1st or the 2nd location we fished? I think it's the 2nd. If so, from the parking area of Barge Canal Access we walked directly straight the to water. Then follow the water left, you'll see short an old boat ramp. Just passed that perhaps 100'. If memory serves. Careful some NASTY thorn bushes there. What I didn't show was I almost took a face dive into the rocks while holding a rod. I broke the fall with my left hand. What I didn't realize for a sec was I firmly and completely grasped the thorn bush I show in this vid. Yeah.... it hurt. Thx for watching! Ken & Lea

Right on Jim right on. Semi rare to hear back from people we meet out fishing. Always a treat when it happens. Some nice conversation I think... we do have one Lyons Dam trip coming out in 1-2 days. Roughly a week after that trip will be up. P.S. ended up doing a catch and cook Jim! If you only had the time buddy. Hope the videos are decent enough heh. Ken & Lea

I admit I/others don't always get want we want. This indeed is a downfall of fishing. On the other side of the coin other hobbies I do, many I'm rather talented in. Some of which I'll be making KZbin channels for. Such as Snow Skiing, Poker, Canvas Painting, Martial Arts, Hunting & Auto/Track Racing. Two of which are already up and running. Another one or two will be up soon. If you like when it comes to hobbies of pure skill, well you'll be seeing those vids also. Such as the Advanced Slopes for Skiing, Professional level painting, Hand to hand combat, not to mention Poker on a level few dare to try. So if by chance you're still around in a bit... then feel free to comment on them. Though if you do, would be nice to see some proof of your word. Otherwise, it holds little weight, yes? I didn't start this. Just don't get if you're enjoying the videos why you'd come off so insulting. As normally I'd say it's an honor having you here. P.S. if you think anyone thinks you always catch hogs, think you'd only be fooling yourself. It just a childish thing to say so over the internet/in person mind you.

Was just our 2nd time there. I agree with you, it was fairly pleasant. At times bit noisy. Not sure, but there's a longer narrow piece of land with parking running parallel with the river, that may help with Google Mapping it. Not sure at Sac Airport boss, as for Feather... Feather River? I hear some of Californias best Fishing (and Gold Panning) can be found at the Feather River. Also Mokelumne River is a bit of a Gem! Some months ago we pulled a fairly stunning & nice size natural Trout there! Ken & Lea

Wish I knew boss... don't recall where I bought it. I'd recon probably Stripers during a boil or Bass. From time to time may get a Sunfish to bite it. That one is about 3".

@@hershisadventuresincalifor9725 Honestly Im sort of new to fishing. My brother and uncle and I have normally go to Fort Baker Pier in Sf mainly to crab and try to catch anything. Last weekend we went to Pacifica Pier, Oyster Point, and Half Moon Bay. Didnt catch anything. This weekend we are going to Vacaville or Suison City I believe to this river bank I cant recall the name of it. I would honestly take any recommendation or best suggestion.

@@kaushiknair510 Well sounds like you have more Crab fishing experience than myself. But what we've figured is that certain baits/lure increase the chances of certain fish. Though surely any fish may take a bait that another type is most likely to take. With using Frozen Anchovies you're more likely to get a Striper, or perhaps a Catfish. While casting Nightcrawlers perhaps a Catfish, Bass, maybe a Carp. While Red Worms or Wax Worms are likely to pull up Bluegills & Red Ears. Trout seem to be fond of artificial baits. Such as Berkley Brand Powerbait Clays & Eggs. We have less lure experience but for Striper perhaps A-Rigs, Larger Jerk Baits, Top Water Poppers, while for Bass perhaps some Crank Baits or Senko Plastic Worms or Robo Plastic Worms. While Trout often strike Rooster Tails, Kastmasters. Rig set up, when using Frozen/Live baits we often use a Carolina Rig (we show this set up in our vids alot) for fishing Striper & Trout. While we often use a Drop Shot set up for Bass or Bluegill. In short seems each type bait is more likely to pull up a certain type of fish. Feel free to ask any questions.

There is never an end of striper run in the Delta. Every week and every month, its fish on with those fish

I'd agree with being able to catch them any time of the year. Just to my understanding from research and other fishermen complied with my own experiences. That though you can always find that, at certain times of the year and fair amount of them will seek a change in the waters, temps, location. Hench the Striper Run. Many claiming, this is when many of your large ones are moving in schools, from Ocean, to the Bays and into the Delta. I'm always down for being corrected, when/if I'm incorrect. Besides, surely we ALL would like to know where the "Bear Sits". Sounds like you also have a passion for Striper fishing? When on a School it can be WILD FIRE! Hope you're enjoying the Fishing Vids... Ken & Lea

Oh forgot to mention they'll spawn past the Bays/Delta to spawn upstream. Course many will choose to return to the Ocean, so one could hook into some returning schools. Seasonal... Assume you fishing Stripers boss... you do other types of fishing also? Trouts rather interesting...

@@hershisadventuresincalifor9725 Hello, I am only 36 but have been fishing striper, sturgeon, bass, trout, steelhead, salmon, and catfish since I was a tiny boy in the Delta, or foothills for the trout. We have often caught many big striped bass females and/or schoolies all years round. During the season I believe you’re referring to, namely spring or fall, there can be greater activity for the obvious spawning reasons, however, it has always seemed like a run since childhood.

@@adrianjimenez6034 Honestly that's some awesome news! I'd recon you know the ropes. When we first started Striper fishing and people would mention the Striper Run we were shocked as we often caught them out of that time. None the less been taking them and research to heart. Still you have me sold on that. Could work both ways. Just maybe HORDES of Stripers in Cali. One thing I HOPE that's not holding us up for more large one's in being limited to Shore Lines. Still I figured we still can, and have landed a FEW keepers. Odds ain't great though heh. Alas while Trout fishing is my wife's favorite type of fishing, mine would be Striper & Sunfishing/Panfish. Well first off to my understanding the California Striper run is coming to an end. The larger ones are back through the SF Bay and into the Ocean. Hence the name of the title. Also, California gets some MASSIVE Stripers running through the Delta here. We hit the Striper run late this year and missed most of it. Can't say I have any desire to visit Massachusetts 🤣. Lived in 5 countries Sicily, USA, Mexico, Singapore & Philippines. Seen many things, just don't have any pull for going there. The day that happens, recon I'd consider. On the other side of the coin, perhaps you should visit California. Seen MANY places, Caribbean, Indonesia and Jamaica as well. Nothing I've seen to date.... has what California has to offer. Btw.... we also have some MONSTER Trout out here.... yes we do indeed have 40" Stripers out here. Putting it mildly.

How goes it? Yes indeed it is. The later part of the video we ended up switching to umm Barge Canal Access think it's called. My bad was our first time there. If you know Miller Park, was fairly Snag Free! Walking on those smooth rocks was trying. The second location, had some rock & weed snags, but bites were good and we heard it was deeper waters! All Sac River.... Ken & Lea
