Damn im the same height as you and you look huge on the bike. Looks a little too small for bigger guys

I got to ride one of these for my msf course, and I kept stalling it over and over. I’m glad to hear that I wasn’t entirely the problem. I still probably need need practice with the clutch though 😅

Yeah. That lean running engine! Every bike has a weak point and it that’s one for the KTM

Depends on your state or province you live in. Here in British Columbia you need a motorcycle license.

Online? I don’t know motorcycle parts too well. I rely on my local dealer and some online shops.

Why do you think that more of your students have accidents in them?
@leeridefar2 ай бұрын
They’re automatic and they don’t fall. So if a mistake happens at a low speed they do not stall. If they make a mistake at a high speed they don’t fall (three wheels). They go go gooooooo until they hit something. I had to stop offering training lessons on them. 1/20 would damage the Can Am significantly. Now once the student learns and passes the higher risk of crashing is less.

Didn't have the stalling issue with it even with a new rider. But I can see how this low torque bike and quiet exhaust could contribute to it.

It runs pretty lean (California Emission Standards) so that doesn’t help either.

you started at 1:01, you hit 96kph/60mph at 1:07. So around 6 seconds on that particular acceleration test.

So I have owned my 2023 duke 200 for about 6 months tbh i crashed it the first day i got it cause I was too new to riding at the time thankfully the dealership where i bought it made sure I was taken care of and had it repaired etc then dropped it at my place roughly a month ago i took the brc with total control and got the confidence to get back on the duke and i have riden it since getting back on it. From being in a drenching downpour to down the highway right by my house at 60mph it definitely is a great motorcycle to start on. My only issue is the struggle to find good bags for it so I can carry a couple things with me to work on the bike instead of in a backpack. Outside for that complaint I love my duke and in all honest with riding over the past two weeks I have easily put 150 miles on it.

My dream bike was the ktm duke 390. Haven't had a bike in years. Had a 600. It's too much for me a small bike like this looks even better than the 390 for me. Been awhile since i rode now I'm randomly thinking of getting this lol
