For a golf crazy country like Japan it's sad that one can not fit a set of clubs in trunk. My nb has more space so will be keeping it for a while .thank you Mazda

Thank you for this. I'm a proud owner of a Mazda 3 BP Skyactiv-G 122, 6 MT. I used to leave the automatic lights in Auto Mode and simply let the car decide when the switch to Hi/Lo Beam. I realised during my 63000 km (39k miles) that almost every time the car goes to Hi Beam and another driver is coming the other way, I get a flash from the other driver - thinking I left the Hi beam on. This has happened a lot. Is this also a problem on UK models? (I bought mine in Germany in 2020) Cheers mate.

Excellent video. After disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it I thought my boot lock had failed. Thanks for your quick video it seems it just went to a default setting I hadn't seen before. It is working just as you describe!

I hope this is helpful to someone else. USB port phone charging - quirk: For charging to work disable fast charging on your smart phone. NOTE: This could just be just Samsung, or a Mazda USB driver software decision. I own the 2019 GT Sport tech 2 litre skyactiv-g. I bought it in Sept 2020, with 4k miles on the clock. During the warranty period in its annual services it received two massive software updates for the infotainment/nav system, each taking 90minutes to install at the dealership. In 2020 I had a Samsung S7 Edge smart phone, and since Nov 2021 I've had a Samsung S21. Both by default had fast-charging enabled. There's a USB port under the CD player, and another port inside the driver's armrest storage compartment. The android auto only works via the port under the CD player. (No, wireless android auto) I was rather disappointed when I plugged in my phones (S7 or S21), and the phones said fast charging unavailable use compatible charger (something to that effect). Using the phone with android auto then drains the battery (obviously). Even not using android auto the battery drains but obviously no where near as much. For example, on my commute home from work. My phones would be around 70% charge when I leave, by the time I get home 40mins later, the charge can be as low as 59%, when using android auto. This became a little stressful when doing longer drives up and down the country visiting family. 😱 A few weeks ago, for reasons too long to mention, I turned off fast charging on my S21 to use a wall charger in the house. I then neglected to turn fast charging back on. The following day in the car. The phone had no problem charging! On the way to work, charge was 60% approx by the time I got to work it was 95%. On the way home it went from 75% to 100%. So, it appears that unlike wall socket adapters, when fast-charging is enabled the port and phone don't negotiate down to slow charging. And the phone doesn't charge at all! So, now I have fast charging disabled all the time. The charging quirk is the same on the port under the CD player, and the one in the armrest storage.

Just received mine, I unchecked all this and the thing was still beeping all the time abd I seriously could not tell why. The bleeps were 3x with a pause in between. Sometimes it seemed I was over the limit but not always. I seriously hate anything that interferes with my driving, I might as well take my ex along each ride.

You cant turn it off in 2024 models, even if there is the option in the menu it doesnt make any difference, it will keep beeping even if you select that it should sound only after 200km exeeding speed. It just doesnt care of your choice in that field
