It was in Gent, not Brussels, one of the best gigs I ever went to😊 I'd love to see your reaction on Horseness is the Whatness (written by guitarist Carlos) and Sundowner (written and lead sung by guitarist Conor Curley) and how they fit into an album otherwise written by the frontman

I absoIutely hate the fact that I only discovered this band this summer and they had JUST had a show in finland and I’m pretty sure they won’t be coming back anytime soon. I love this album so much, it’s so versatile. I already know what my spotify wrapped will look like this year.. 😅 My faves are starburster, bug, desire and death kink but it’s all just so good. I’d love for you to check out death kink 😌

George Harrison is an amazing songwriter. His song writing talant gets often overshadowed by his role as guitarist in Beatles due to Lennon & McCartney. Because they wrote most of the Beatles catalog.

Sonor at D because you associate them with cheap kits is interesting, because the general opinion of their high-end kits is that they're equivalent or even a tier above DW in terms of craftsmanship, only below hyper expensive boutique kits like Brady or Craviotto. Sonor is like the Mercedes-Benz or BMW of drums (German, expensive, precision engineering). The main criticism of their high-end drums is that they're super heavy because their hardware is so heavy-duty. Of course, they also make cheap drums. My personal favorite brands for price/quality ratio (and also just overall quality) are Tama and Yamaha. IMO the Yamaha Recording Custom and the discontinued Tama Birch/Bubinga are the best sounding kits ever. My main kit is a Gretsch and the drums are fantastic but the hardware is pretty flimsy.

Thank you for your comment! We haven't had much experience of higher end Sonor kits, it's something we will have to look into. We recently got a custom Tama Babinga kit and it's absolutely incredible!

The MTV Unplugged concert was a year before this song was released. I think the song you may have been thinking of is Live Forever which is a very popular upload from that concert. This is the best Acoustic performance of Stand By Me for sure. I love the fact that you described Oasis as the biggest British band of all time, my heart agrees with you although my head does not. They are unquestionably iconic though and i really enjoyed your reaction

the snobbery in the commentsmakes me so happy im not them. why click on a channel, listen to a song and then slag it off to get some fake credibility. Oasis are back because no one in these comments or anyone since bothered to get off their arses and deliever us a generational collection of songs like oasis did 94-97, b-sides that are better than most bands singles.

Well done guys it’s nice to hear professional musicians with something intelligent to say about the band. Back in 1994 I can tell you this band hit like a shock wave ! After Nirvana imploded I honestly didn’t think we would ever get a classic rock band again! So the name was highly app they were an Oasis from the Stock waterman manufactured pop songs on the charts at the time.

Third biggest selling U.K. act of the 90’s I believe behind Oasis and the Spice Girls The bassist was a mere teenager in this performance. Love Noels backing vocals here, they sound great, not to say Liam doesn't either. Then again as a 90s kid Oasis are one of my all time favourites. If you want a famous example of someone who almost ruined their voice from incorrect technique then look at Freddie Mercury himself, he gave himself vocal nodules early on in his career, forcing him to change how he sang. Listen to early recordings of him (1973) live and then later on, you can hear the change of technique.

Queen sells out tours every year. I think it’s safe to say that Queen fans love Adam Lambert. Sure, there are fans that want Queen to disband bc Freddie is the only Queen one who can sing these songs. Music is a performance art. It must be made to live. Kudos to Roger and Brian for still playing their guts out. Love them

Adam is better than Freddie. Ive been to 2 Adam live concerts and he is beyond amazing, never goes off pitch ever, soul and emotion in every song, not only a top notch vocalist but also a top notch performer and entertainer. In all of these official concert videos they have already applied post production and pitch correction so everyone sounded good in them but Adam doesnt need of those. His live is 100% perfect. The crazy thing is he hit al the highs effortlessly. And yes Adam started on theater and Simon Cowell at American Idol gave him the thumbs down saying that he isnt suited for the competition. Simon has to take back his words later.

Yes I was there 🤩 I was 19, visiting friends in the south of England and we decided to go over there on Saturday on a whim, no real plan who we were going to see. We missed Hendrix (he appeared on Sunday but we'd left by then as I had a train to catch) but did see The Who who went on at 2am and absolutely killed it, they were great. I didn't see any sound towers, pretty sure there were none but it's a long time ago. The one thing I'm sure about was that the crowd was HUGE, seemed to go on for miles, and every single one of them was stoned. There was so much weed being smoked that you could get high just sitting there!
