It's almost criminal to have a Beatles shirt on and not be familiar with Radiohead, I consider them kind of like the modern day Beatles or at least for their (my) generation. They evolved just like the Beatles did and pulled an abrupt left turn right after they were being hailed as the saviors of rock and roll and made a radically different set of records. They actually did an entire mini-concert on Jools Holland right around the time they radically changed their sound. It's only about an hour and a half and it's just brilliant and i would love to see someone react to it. It's them at the height of their powers although a lot of people would say that's during the In Rainbows period. The two basement sessions they did are among my favorite things musically ever and they were both after this period so what do I know.

For me, this is Radiohead's best performance of Paranoid Android. Its perfect. Great reaction, boys 👍 If you're not familiar with the album - Ok Computer, then as music connoisseurs you really should know it, it's one of the great albums.

The song is so big and seemingly out of control, it’s hard to take in on first listen, especially live. Ultimately, despite its hard rock feel, it’s a classical piece of music, progressive in nature, requiring familiarity to adequately assess. Excellent reaction, please do more Radiohead, the smile, and or live performance of ATOMS FOR PEACE (with Flea on bass) Cheers!

Atoms For Peace (Amok) actually surprised me. Really good record actually. Play it more than any of their solo stuff. The Smile records are great too!

There were 3 albums that changed my life from 1997 through 2000. 1997- Radiohead/ OK Computer (nuff said) 1998- Modest Mouse/ Lonesome Crowded West (back before they got commercial. rawwwwwwwww as fuck) 2000- Godspeed You Black Emperor/ Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennae To Heaven (an avant-garde sonic masterpiece)

If you ever fancy doing a Radiohead album I think you’d appreciate “In Rainbows” I would like to see your take on it. Also the Ben Howard End of the Affair performance is arguably the best Jules Holland performance in my opinion but would be cool to see some more of them 👍

As a music illiterate in my 60's I hardly understood a word you said but still enjoyed it! When I first got to know Paranoid Android I thought they'll never be able to do it justice live, so I was completely blown away when I saw this, easily 95 for me! OK Computer is a masterpiece of an album and they didn't settle on that formula, continuing to innovate with Kid A and beyond. The video for this is wild too! A stand out Jools later performance for me is Sleaford Mods, Jobseeker. Cheers.

Great reaction - such a memorable performance. This was my era - I was about 18... such memories! Perhaps not your thing necessarily but you're unlikely to see a more impassioned performance on JH than Mary J Blige, No More Drama...2002, it's simply epic. Thank your for your great, honest and educated reactions.

Jools Holland performance to watch: McAlmont & Butler - You Do (kzbin.info/www/bejne/rKbJZWt9atZ4hrs) When this was aired, everybody in the family fell completely silent for the whole thing, and none of us had even heard of McAlmont, or Butler! I still get goosebumps on top of my goosebumps watching it. By far the most memorable performance I've seen on Jools Holland.

The Jools Holland REM performance. What about looking a bit further back and taking a look at some of the live performances on, The Old Grey Whistle Test. Everyone who was anyone did OGWT. Like everyone who counted. One particularly (IHMO) good performance is, The Tubes, doing, White Punks On Dope.

Seasick Steve’s first appearance on Jools Hootananny is very good, “doghouse boogie” . Broadcast on the 2006/7 show. BTW I think the 2001 appearance of Radiohead on Jool’s show was a better performance of Paranoid Android.

I like the musical intertwining Melodie’s - gave off some hypnotic mystical far east vibes. Ain’t got a bananas what the dude is singing he sounds like he has severe sunburn and is trying to walk with out his clothes rubbing on his burns so yep he’s sounds like he’s in pain - like the pain I’m suffering listening to him. First time hearing this and in my opinion Listening to Radiohead is like trying to negotiate a packed elevator with severe sunburn. I rate this song = finding 1 empty bottle of after sun care but a full bottle of Tabasco , when you need emergency cool soothing! Yup it’s a 1 outta whatever the scale is and yup he’s as bad as Coldplay 😊
