why does he wear an elvis outfit? he comes on stage smoking a cigarette very unprofessional. - he became a vegas parody of himself. The band sounded pretty good and full of energy.

literally the only drop of color in the entire studio. DEEPEST GRATITUDE & APPRECIATION, FLOWERS IN 2024, FOR THE TRAILBLAZERS, ANCESTORS - ALL THE WOMEN WHO WITHSTOOD THIS TYPE OF SEGREGATION, TO BRING FORTH THEIR GIFTS. LOVE AND GRATITUDE TO ALL WHO MADE IT EASIER FOR GENERATIONS OF DESCENDANTS. How difficult was it for Ms. Arnold to be THE ONLY ONE??!! Her and so many others? Not easy at all. Yet, she performs flawlessly. Deepest respect , love and gratitude, throughout all time. Love you, Queen.👑Bowing. LuLu xo july13,2024

They exploited all artist regardless of race. can't you just enjoy? Are you so miserable that you're incapable of even a few moments to smile? All of us have a limited time on earth and that time is too short to be miserable. I pray for you.

I just love this song and jackie wilson to this day.....57 years since.....this song always makes me want to dance....and i cannot dance.
It's pretty spooky to see this footage knowing what was to happen to him less than two years later after this show. He looks almost just like a black version of later, heavier Elvis, complete with the 1970s white jumpsuit. They were actually only about 6 months apart in age and obviously were great influences upon each other and had such similar ends at roughly the same age. Jackie Wilson's life was perhaps even more chaotic than Elvis' and he experienced a level of poverty and of course racism that Elvis didn't (even though obviously Elvis' family was white working-class poor with a lot of chaos of its own). Both looked like much older men by their late 30s and there's a foreboding sense of doom and desperation in their performances from that era.
