It's so sad, she sings her heart out and those just sit there and looking at the year, we know why. So disrespectful. She's beautiful inside and out. She deserved more. 💙💙
@dadstuff12316 күн бұрын
I think you're wrong...she was very popular overseas...people were more reserved back then...even today...I've been to concerts down South and regardless of color...folks tend to sit still and be quiet during the singing.

literally the only drop of color in the entire studio. DEEPEST GRATITUDE & APPRECIATION, FLOWERS IN 2024, FOR THE TRAILBLAZERS, ANCESTORS - ALL THE WOMEN WHO WITHSTOOD THIS TYPE OF SEGREGATION, TO BRING FORTH THEIR GIFTS. LOVE AND GRATITUDE TO ALL WHO MADE IT EASIER FOR GENERATIONS OF DESCENDANTS. How difficult was it for Ms. Arnold to be THE ONLY ONE??!! Her and so many others? Not easy at all. Yet, she performs flawlessly. Deepest respect , love and gratitude, throughout all time. Love you, Queen.👑Bowing. LuLu xo july13,2024

@@matthiasschmatz8101 Beautiful black female singer with an amazing voice her debut song,First cut is the deepest’ wrote by cat stevens will never be beaten by any other artists who have sang it. PP ARNOLD IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN SING IT FORGET THE REST. The original video in 67 in the water see her fantastic legs splashing about plus she looks so beautiful she should be awarded a Grammy for her legs alone. Some female singers insured their legs for a million pounds COULDNT put a value on PPs plus she teams up with the great group The small faces one of the best bands in the 60s forget the Beatles she is too talented to sing along with them FACT ❤️

So true. The audience is dead. I think because she's a black singer.
@flamencoprof3 жыл бұрын
@@stevenjerico8192 If you knew how many black American artists went back to France after WW2 because they found the lack of prejudice they experienced while serving there very liberating, you would not say that. More likely it is a class thing; the orchestra is doing nothing when they could have been doing an awesome backing, but they don't see it as their kind of music, and not worth their participation. Or maybe the producers had that attitude. Definitely a dead audience though.

I see a beautiful young black lady singing out from her heart and soul in front of a totally white audience who seem mostly disinterested. She is literally the only black person there and has to put on a heartfelt performance in front of this (apathetic, unresponsive) lot. And no I am not woke & I am not black, I'm just stating what I see. She has more about her than everyone shown in this video put together in my opinion. Please tell me if I am wrong.
