If I recall correctly, chat was telling her that the sidequest with Grandma Kazra was their favorite sidequest, and they urged her to play it. After it ended, she was like, "This is your favorite sidequest? WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!?"

Without spoiling anything, Rebirth handles the whole Cloud and Zack plot insanely well. There are some crazy moments that make long time fans go "oooh shiiiieet!" quite a few times :)

Brother, unironically, ruined every aspect of this game for me. Aside from being obnoxious... he is Rikku's brother and that makes him Yuna's first cousin. That makes everything he does and says even more creepy, if you can imagine that was even possible. X-2 would actually be a really good game if Brother did not exist or had remained like he was in FFX, but because of the direction they took him, I cannot enjoy X-2 at all.

"Don't take him too" shatters me. The delivery for one thing but also the "too"- that damn near everyone she's ever known and cared about is already dead at Sephiroth's hands. Cloud is one of the only things she has left by now and she's losing him to Sephiroth as well, in a way arguably far worse than if he just died.

Tifa going through the lifestream tutorial to prepare her for part 3. lol Also, wanted to point out how cute it was that the quest was called "Where she belongs" and to complete it you have to walk Cloud over to her and the Weapon that saved her will leave once he is there. Curious that the Weapon that saved her is blue, the same weapon that attacked Junon in the OG when Tifa was imprisoned there. I wonder if the implication is that freeing Tifa was its goal in OG.

I watched this last night. This is my favorite chapter of the game and your play through was really fun to watch. You’re incredible, Sarah.

But now that the Whisper Harbinger has been defeated, they’ve been split into black and white Harbingers. Black harbingers are with Sephiroth and maintain the path to the future that he wants while white whispers will help anyone who has the power to stand up to him

Hi Sarah, do you take game suggestions? I have a truly beautiful franchise i think you’d fall in love with as i see you like Final Fantasy/Xenoblade and the like. The series is called Trails in the Sky (a trilogy) by Nihon Falcom, it expands into wider stories after that, you may have heard of Trails from Cold Steel? Those games are part of this franchise too. That scene when Tifa and Cloud talked after she woke up on Gongaga is foreshadowing her role in pt 3. I can't wait!! Also, the bgm during this scene and the lifestream scene is peak!! Uematsu san ate!

Chapter 9 is the chapter devs were excited for because it’s new and not in the original it’s basically a huge foreshadowing to part 3 and it was honestly the best rebirth chapter for me it was truly peak

The sneak peek of lifestream and the heart to heart between Cloud and Tifa were some of the highlights of rebirth for me.
