Hi I don't own the same car but I have been running lean kind of like how you explained it with air fuel learning going negative then back to zero, did your car feel slow also? Besides having no check engine light on?Oh and did car feel better with sensor unplugged so I can try doing that before buying a new one? Thank you for your video 👍

Hard to upgrade just the turbo as the fuel system is already about tapped out in stock form. Would need to upgrade those components as well to keep everything safe.

Quick question. Could you not get to it from the top? Also do you have to drain the coolant? I’m thinking if you pinch the lines that might do the trick.
@spdkills83Ай бұрын
You could try to go in through the top I suppose if you are patient and/or sadistic lol. Seriously though it's worth giving it a try if you think its possible. As for the coolant drain I tried myself to pinch them off and ended up creating a huge mess when one slipped off so just drained the whole thing. Not really a big deal if your do for a full coolant change anyway. Good luck

Just ordered my set a couple Months ago, and they just arrived a few weeks ago.Cannot wait to install them! I got the x1 classics with long travel an 7k springs. But his customer service is second to none. He is an absolute pleasure to deal with. He doesn't talk down to you. He doesn't treat you like an idiot. He answers any and every question you have. He gives you honest opinions and advice! He never once really tried to upsell me to the next most expensive thing, it was Always about the coils themselves, And the conditions I was building them for. Cause I live in new hampshire and half the roads are paved, an thenones that are, are nothing but potholes, and then everything else is all dirt and gravel. So he helped me build, you know, the exact perfect set, I need for that type of driving conditions, And we'll see I cannot wait to install them.Just been too busy. Also dumb question What are those orange disc's tho?
@spdkills83Ай бұрын
Hopefully they treat you well. The little orange discs are radial spring perches. The adjustable plates and those perches came with the kit. If you use the OEM top hats you won't need to use them though and if you never plan to use them they are a good way to recoup some $$$ on the open market.

What do they do. Mounts I mean. What is NVH just getting into this 2021 wrx base I installed an AoS from IAG and rear fog light as I live in the mtns
@spdkills83Ай бұрын
Pretty much they keep the engine from rocking and keep the driveline inline. Flex in the driveline can have a sloppy feeling when pushing the car (shifting etc.,). By taking the slop out it improves the mechanical feel of the car in my opinion. NVH is noise, vibration, and harshness. Basically all the things that you feel and hear from the driveline and car as a whole (gear whine, wind noise, the buzziness in the rear view mirror from vibration etc.,). The stiffer the mounts the more engine vibration you feel inside the car.

@spdkills83Ай бұрын
@@santoscarrillo2996 I would just replace with OEM unless you're going to track the car then search out some that are made from better material ARP or such. If you can get a better deal on the ARP etc., than OEM then I'd go that direction.

Hello from Australia, 1st subaru I've owned, it's a 22 premium wrx with 23,000km on it 1000 of those km are from me as i bought it with 20000 on it . I have a coolant issue, air in the system. It has a r400 catback which is only 1,500 km old, a short shifter for the 6 speed and that's it. Coolant was flushed and replaced by a dealer. Drove it twice and it pushed coolant out of the radiator cap, also it doesn't overheat. Any idea on what's going on.
@spdkills83Ай бұрын
Probably a cliche answer, but if it wasn't having the issue before the dealer visit, I would just take it back to them and have them check it and verify system has been purged of air. If everything checks out by them then could be possibly be something like a slightly damaged radiator cap. Sometimes they can get damaged and not really be able to tell and can leak once everything gets good and warm. Completely random guess though.

@spdkills833 ай бұрын
If by pulls you mean roll racing, no I never did any of that. I did do a bunch of redline pulls on country backroads though and in the mountains. Never took it to a track in the time I owned it. It never had any issues during my ownership as far as engine related issues or turbo issues goes. New owner daily's it to the best of knowledge and it's still going strong from what I hear. The car has been with the new owner now for right at a year, and spoke to him a few months back.

Full size all the way down to mini trucks. 7.3 power stroke, 5.9 12 valve, 5.9 V8 dodge gasser, 6.7 power stroke and a Nissan D21 w/ KA24. Switched to Subaru in 2019 I’m honesty never going to back to anything else. 2018 sti (totaled), 2019 WRX S.Grey with Full DCCD STI drivetrain swap, Lifted 98 SF forester with N/A EJ25 5 speed. Both are tanks Capable of taking me to work everyday no matter the weather Colorado throws at me providing smiles per miles. Their AWD system won me over. Not better than my EVO 8 though ;).

Just the fact he said he came to a stop and it died pretty much diagnosed my problem right off the bat. Wander afr and after I would down shift and push the clutch in and roll to a stop it would struggle to run then die, front o2 gone puts it into open loop failsafe fueling map, so it’s gonna run a tad rich up top, idle will also sound like it’s struggling when it’s bad as well.

I used rottela in the summer here in canada, but I change it for oem subaru oil for winter. We get as cold as -50°c (-58°F) so I was worried about the rottela being too thick on the cold starts. I have 160,000 km on my 2012 sti, and all I had to replace so far was the steering rack. She burns oil, basically have to top it up every second fill up. Ends up being about 1 litre of oil burned every 2500 km. I have a closed deck engine being built in the shop as we speak, all forged internals. I just installed every cusco chassis brace they have on the market, plus all aftermarket suspension mods. (Control arms, coil overs, ball joints, trailing arms, sway bars, tie rods etc) basically everything is getting ripped out and upgraded. She's going to be putting down 450 whp with a grimmspeed bb500 turbo with 1050 cc injectors, and all the supporting goodies 😉

@spdkills835 ай бұрын
The dyno tune for everything when I had it done was 1K. I blocked off the port with a red vacuum hose cap the fit tightly over it and zip tied to secure. I did remove the EVAP sensors completely and at the time (before cobb green speed) they were able to disable the codes that it would throw from being removed. Thanks for asking.
