I’m always pleasantly surprised with how comfortably it fits my wife, two kids, and everything we need. It really is a great dad car.

It does definitely seem to do everything surprisingly well for the type of car that it is.

The STI is a very versatile vehicle, good-looking, sporty enough, and somewhat family oriented. 😆 I love it. Happy New Year bro!

I have 3 kids! It works perfectly for us;-)

Curious did you have it when the kids were in car seats? If so, were you able to do the 3 in the back? I know it looks like it can, just appears that it would be extremely tight.

I would think two boosters and one car seat combo would work. I have a 6 and 4yo which would go in the booster and a 2.5yo in the car seat.

In case I ever have kids, I future-proofed myself by getting an STI, a fun 4door car. Happy New Year bro

That's pretty slick thinking on the future proofing lol. Happy new year to you and yours as well 💪

Hey Sean, I add the similar stroller there…that has the big rear wheels like a jogger stroller. Or during summer times, I have a 4 person camping tent along with 2 picnic chairs and 1 picnic table (foldable ones). Or even have my roadbike taken in the trunk to drop my WRX to dealer, but have to fold down rear seats. Got roof racks and have been using that lately.

Sachin, sounds like you been really putting that versatility and capacity to good use. I had a hitch on my 09' STI hatch for out MTN bikes way back when. That really opened up other areas to haul more things as well. Good to it is handling all of your needs as it should 💪

Much Respect to your videos…I really appreciate the no nonsense approach to ur builds.. you do it for the performance and not so much the looks…that’s my vision..as well…? I’m new to the STI family..rite now im completely stock(2016 limited)..I wanna make sure im shifting correctly…any tips on when to shift gears will be helpful..i not new to driving manual just wanna make sure im doing rite by Subie Sti standards…again keep the great videos coming…thnx

Thank you I appreciate it 👊try to keep it straight to the point as much as I can. As for your question I assume you're talking about shifting for performance. If so, then anything past 6000-6300 RPM is just making noise on a stock setup. The stock power curve drops off significantly in the upper RPM's. I'd suggest setting your factory shift light to 6100rpm and try it a few times, and see how it feels to you. Here is a video (not mine) on how to adjust the factory shift light/beep setting in case you needed the help kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6aZm6R-pLqtrsk skip to :40 second mark to start the process. Thanks again

What car seat mat is that?
@spdkills832 ай бұрын
If you're asking about the mat in the seat that was a britax branded rubber mat. If you're talking about the seat back protectors those were some cheap ones from amazon.

Was the car ever to loud for your baby ?
@spdkills837 ай бұрын
Not at all, I’d say if anything the sound helped put them to sleep on longer trips. I never had to shout at passengers to talk as normal conversation tones could be used.
