In germany we say: If you can't slice bread with a knive your not ready to get married, I learned slicing bread at 3 and perfected it at 9ish which is pretty normal here

Well, that's certainly a unique qualification for matrimony! I guess we Americans are doomed to a life of subpar bread-slicing and failed marriages. But hey, at least our divorce rates keep the legal profession thriving. Maybe we should start a cultural exchange program: bread-slicing lessons for relationship advice?
@henriette2446Ай бұрын
@@SMG_62 german divorce rate is at 35,4% american is at 42%, but idk why you got so offended by my comment that you had to try to insult us? I was just pointing out a difference that exists because of different cultural practices. Most germans buy their bread unsliced as a loaf so they have to learn how to slice it. As I said, it took me 6 years to perfect it. Americans mostly eat pre sliced bread so they just don't have as much practice. If you just started making bread its natural you and your wife aren't as perfect at slicing it which is totally fine.

A 3D printed girlfriend? That's a cool idea, but we're not quite there yet. Printing a real person is super hard! Maybe try printing something smaller first, like a toy or a phone case. We can dream about robot girlfriends later.
@kirill2525Ай бұрын
@@SMG_62 that was kind of a joke but it would be neat to 3d print in silicone. That being said, theoretically you can 3d spring anything if you can assemble any molecule from atoms but our technology isn't there yet. and even if it was, I feel that the powers at be would not let us have access to it, just like they don't let us have access to zero point energy as that would put all the electrical companies out of busness.

Cutting warm bread is a huge no-no for keeping it in tact, and massively impacts its crumb! All the Steam escaping would have been reabsorbed into it making it nice and soft and bouncy instead of the drier, tougher (more crumbly) crumb if sliced warm. 😊 Hope this helps your wife! Yes, this!!! It needs to be room temperature. I would also recommend searching for "Bread cooling rack" on Google and ordering one. You don't even need the rack part, it's a cross-wire sheet that lifts the bread about a ¼ inch off of whatever you let the bread rest on. It prevents moisture from forming at the bottom of the loaf, AND cooling the bread let's the porous strings of gluten "cure" if you will.

Ok that's good 😅 I was getting worried about that
@SMG_62Ай бұрын
PLA (Polylactic Acid) has a potential advantage over HDPE in food contact environments due to its biodegradable nature. This means it can break down into environmentally friendly substances under specific conditions, such as industrial composting. While both materials are considered safe for food contact, the environmental impact at the end of their life cycle is where PLA often shines. Typically plastic cutting boards are made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). Both HDPE and PLA are generally considered safe for food contact.

@@SMG_62 exactly he’ll half the fuses I find people just put a higher voltage into all you really need is positive power on a button to start, negative to the magneto to stop it, if you have an alternator feed that directionally into the battery then you can put literally anything you could even need on a separate power system that won’t screw you’re entire system if it fails can still be charged and keeps a battery charged for starting seems complicated but if that’s your plan I figure you know exactly what I’m talking about. I’m my experience that set up never fails unless you sink the whole boat (Might wanna hook a to the main power to a electric bilge pump) personally i usually either add a selector so I can run it off of the auxiliary or main power or just add a manual one (my boats are usually small enough for that) just do a little waterproofing for that system or have one of your batteries as high up as you can. Anyway good luck and hopefully it goes well

The first go round where it peeled, not sure what the problem was but I learned the hard way that you can't mix Rustoleum with other brands! Rustoleum is enamel and most everything else, (ie Krylon) is laquer. The thing I don't like about Rustoleum primer is many days later it may be dry to the touch but it's not really hard, not good for automotive.

I spent a number of years in the aircraft repair biz, painting aluminum is constantly going on, so prep is critical. You don't want your A321 peeling during a 37, 000 ft flight across country! LOl! You want to start by using a chemical called Alumiprep 33, followed by Alodine 1201. Plenty of videos on youtube showing there use , but, they are worth it before painting. This is all about controlling the oxidation process
