Your silence at the end is one of the best reactions I've seen for episode 6. I felt it, and shared a couple tears with you.

*Ambessa yells for the charge and it cuts to black Everyone: "Don't end the episode now!" * after the cut happens Everyone: "I take that back" And that's Episode 6 folks. The outro-terminator.

I keep crying and crying each and every time that scene comes up...and I didnt cry the first time, but there was an sudden emotional tug that I felt that kept me wanting to watch that scene over and over again... and that's when the dam broke for me...and it never fails to tear me up from then on... Even Guardians 3 wasnt this effective ...

and yet I am fighting for my life trying to get people to watch it and they won't. I wish the YT algorithm would infect their home page like Arcane has mine; just to push the agenda a bit for them to watch it.

Same reaction after ep 6, just stunned into a numb haze for quite some time. And I kept ruminating over Viktor's last words -- "that which inspires us to our greatest good is also the cause of our greatest evil" -- because I thought for sure this was specifically foreshadowing Jinx's response in act 3, which made it all the more brutal to me.
@kevindon21332 күн бұрын
Really appreciated this reaction because of the raw vulnerability of the reactor. Let those EMOTIONS FLOW!

The most emotional act of this season hands down. Jinx's healthier mental state after meeting Isha, Vi and Jinx reconciling, Vander comeback and how it all worked wonders for the story of the sisters and the following heartbreak (flashbacks to Vander and Silco too 😩). Loved the reactions.

01:11:59 What do you mean by saying "they're not being subtle about this"? Is that a negative thing?
@mattragel7 күн бұрын
Not a negative at all. Just an observation that the show (or Cranston's performance) at this point was no longer being subtle about Walter's manipulation tactics, making it clear for Jesse and the viewer to NOT be on Walter's side in this scenario.

Naobito has only appeared once in season 1 during maki's and mai's flashback. He is the current zenin clan head that maki went to and declared that she is leaving the clan and will return as the head of the clan in the future. That's why maki is ashamed by being saved by him, and probably why he is so nonchalant (being strong enough to be the head of the major clan means that he is strong enough to not be scared for his life)

In the first episode of the series, the doctor told Walter he had at most 2 years to live. That was right after his 50th birthday. This episode starts on his 52 birthday.

1. when the bomb exploded in the hexgate tower, right there is a magenta flash away towards the vents before the smoke spreads. 2. caitlyn confirming that air vents network exists there. 3. caitlyn holding the piece of the bomb, means they went looking down there and didn't find a body. 4. the zeppelin at the end, possibly powder going away to "break the cycle".. in real time when the bomb wen t off i was thinking since hexgate will already blow them up why did powder set off her own monkey bomb too.. both produced diff colour explosions.. which prompted me to look at that closer and then the magenta flash happened... on a macro level Arcane feels like it cn be a generational piece of media just like GOT. what an experience !. sure on a technical and micro level there can be flaws here and there but that's fine.. the overall excellence in all departments truly makes this show a masterpiece in my eyes.

So Mythbusters actually tested the swiveling M60 contraption with a similar shack with dummies set up, and amazingly it replicated the Breaking Bad scene pretty much perfectly. All the standing and sitting dummies were hit fatally, and the Walter dummy on the floor caught a single stray bullet. So yeah, it's actually plausible. It's been a wonderful ride through this series, and although I understand that "ending yearning", Breaking Bad's finale does feel very much final. That last episode really closed pretty much everything off. Really excited for Better Call Saul!

I’ve only had the chance to watch the reaction section so far, but I’m so impressed by how incisive and perceptive you are. For a movie that purposely keeps you off balance, you seemed to always be one step ahead and really understand the core of what was happening. A testament to both the brilliance of the filmmaking and your intelligence and instincts. You also commented on one of my (many) favorite things about the movie: For all of its jaw dropping breadth, dozens of settings, ridiculous humor, and stylistic references, at its heart it’s a very intimate story about one family’s need to find meaning and acceptance. It is both incredibly massive and absolutely tiny at the same time. Just brilliant!
