Tbh I like that the gms take casualties on screen. If the zekes can actually fight back theres a reason for all the fancy g armor and gundams.

That's one tough GM, like holy crap it can take insane kind of punishment, repeatedly get shot by large caliber cannon, struck by axe, get repeated shot by 120mm machine gun rounds. It refuse to go down and can still run fast as f.

ナイトガンダム物語だと見た目がゴキブリな事でコックローチバイアランで知られてるバイアラン。ドダイ無しで飛行出来るモビルスーツにしてかっこよく後にカスタムも登場と意外と優遇されてたな。

These are definitely early productions. They got shot multiple times by gunfire and explosives yet they're still moving around. These pilots are lucky to be inside something that can keep them alive

地味と言う勿れ、15mのMSが遮蔽のほぼない背の低い建物しかない市街地でどう戦闘が展開されるのかきちんとシミュレートされている秀逸なアニメーション。

I don't think is plot armor, the newbies are fighting well trained, highly organized veterans. The Guncannons pilot also never fight this kind of warfare, while Ramba Ral and the Black Tri Star pilots DO, and they are confident of themselves and their machines. Is like a bunch of hastily assembled conscripts vs US Commandos, the US Commandos always come out on top with little to no casualty. I mean, if one of the veteran died, IT MAKES ZERO SENSE in the continuity of the plot. So yes, the Guncannon pilots are trash, end of story.
