I had the 25L size in black and unfortunately had to return it. It’s beautifully made, no issues there, but the metal frame that gives it such nice rigidity served to make the side access panel completely unusable with my D850 body. Instead of a softer opening aperture for the camera, the metal frame made the aperture very rigid and at too small a dimension to easily pull out/replace the camera body. Also, the side access panel is on the wrong side of the bag for a right handed person to swing it around on one shoulder strap for access. I hated to return it, but it just wouldn’t work for my kit and style of carry.

I'm an 'Old School' film shooter. Image quality was king ...400 ASA..god forbid! Grain, Grain!!.... People can become obsessed with 'Image Quality' It's not all about sharpness, people often forget about 'atmosphere' which can be brought about in their photos by the lack of clarity. Grain, in some situations, is good!

If I raise the ISO, I lose the colour range. Secondly, I lose a lot of detail. Thirdly, noise appears. DeNoising (even in Photoshop) is not lossless. So ISO 6400 is a poor choice. Even 3200 is too much. Photos taken at high ISO are technically poor.

I have a Nikon coolpix p510 24-1,000. 42x telephoto. Great pictures. Loves pictures. Remind me pictures everywhere

Can you clarify what size core unit you have here? I’m torn between the 30 and 40. I’m an elopement photographer and usually carry 2 bodies mounted with a 24-70 and 70-200, a separate 85, laptop, all chargers, water, snacks, bear spray, sweater, sandals, rain jacket, etc. i’m worried the 48 will allow me to pack too much stuff that will make the pack very heavy lol

I was in that area last year.... it is a truly amazing place!!! I cannot wait to go back. I took a lot of amazing shots and go back to view them often

Where is the comparison you promised?

Not sure I understood the shutter speed you put into your calculator. Is it the shutter speed "before" you installed the ND filter or after? Also what app are you using for the exposure settings? Thank you!
