@@IsaacG97 you can try out every weapon in the game right at the start of the game if you sleep on your bed (thats how you enter training mode)

Hey i just started frontier and was wondering about how much damage i receive. how much defence did you have in this video? Edit: Little update. The urgend Hr3 espinas quest busted my balls but rajang in hr3 was a walk in the Park. Maybe it's the scaling of some Monsters

As long as you make armor from monsters of the same rank and upgrade it when you can, defense should be fine. However, damage in this game is much higher than other MH games. G-Rank has the option to turn down star difficulty of most quests at the cost of less rewards. There is also an option to use Halk Potions that reduce damage by 75%, these can be obtained from hunter nav. But I would highly recommend having +2 evasion since this game was designed for that unlike the other games, you can get a good set for it from the early Gogomoa armor.

The Urgent Espinas is designed with multiple one shot moves indicated by the delay, most monsters have signature one shot moves that one shot you even when you have an appropriate amount of defense for the rank. Rajang does not have very strong moves compared to the others in Frontier.

Also some private server will consider all player as a premium subscription member, which give damage reduction, in the server that i play, u can definitely use the first armor throughout high rank, only needed to change armor in gr and zenith

The game has been downloaded and worked on before the servers shut down. Fragments of the game of been scattered between multiple coders but a mostly complete version of the game has been made by a few of them. Anyone can download the game and make their own server or join other people's private servers. You can look at the MHF reddit or look for a discord that has one to play on, everything is free unless you encounter a weird community pay walling it. I will not link anything to it here for privacy and legal reasons, not like you would get in trouble, I just don't want the links to download the game be taken down.

So the earth is the classic MHTri move set.

Basically, but the morph attacks are more lenient and the Elemental Discharge is faster. In classic Tri you could only morph from Axe after the overhead swing, and in P3rd and 3U you could only do it after the forward thrust. Frontier lets you morph after basically every move.

My Frontier doesn't recognize my RT and LT As Buttons, super weird... I'm using a normal Xbox Series S controller.

Xbox controllers are known to have problems with this game. You're gonna need to use a third party program to try to get the buttons to work or use a dualshock 4 controller.

@@manikaditha6308 INSANE-ly grindy that is mahahha I also got burnt out after my 50th Teostra in HR 2 or 3 to craft and upgrade my armor.

@@Hambs23 what, did you manually grind your material? That's some dedication because material drops in this game are waaay waaaay shittier and more confusing than mainline games. Honestly its not that grindy with rain server if you abuse shops, only ravi weapon is somewhat grindy, and if you're good enough with bounties in the discord server, you can progress faster too. Theres something called road point in end game and heres where i got burnt out because META needs shitton of points, the main problem is i have to spent 2-4 hours or even more to get decent points IN A SINGLE RUN, thats kinda tiring and insane for a DECENT amount of points where i can reach floor 70-100 in 2-3 hours. Worse its boring as hell too.
