I have a 2023 Wrangler Willys with the stick. In my opinion, that 6th gear is worthless. I cruised fine on the highway at 65-70mph in 5th. Jeep should delete that 6th gear and move the reverse down to where it was instead. And if I made one more recommendation, all Jeeps should come with a trailer hitch and the aux switch package. You have to assume, while most peple may not tow, they made want to carry a bike rack. And most will add a light or winch to their Jeep. Also know that the automatic Jeeps have a nice grommet to slice through in the engine firewall for additional wiring, if you didn't get the aux switches. The manual tranny Jeeps don't make it as obvious where to drill through the firewall.

Now I'm not too sure how true this is but I heard for the first time today that "the rear spoiler changes airflow traveling over the roof, and directs it down the rear glass. The idea is to keep the hatch glass clearer, by redirecting dust or water swirling up, from tires and under vehicle turbulence, that would otherwise collect."

Whats passive suspension?
@readysetrev14 күн бұрын
Hey! It's your standard suspension, it doesn't auto-adjust in level or anything. Active will raise and lower itself depending on circumstances.

I had that same truck and it is the ONLY vehicle that I regret trading in. The 5 speed was fun and the white gauge cluster was different. I would buy another if I can find a good one. My son is almost 13 son Imight need to get him one.

From the moment I was taught to drive a stick 21 years ago when I was 19 yrs old I've loved it. When I brought a new tacoma a few years ago I learned I could still get a Manual tranz so I did. The lady at the dealership looked at me like I was crazy, saying," you actually want a Manual?" Lol. That being said, probably a Taco.

I haven't worked on them, however I would guess with added technology, probably not! However I will also bet they are still considerably easier than most other vehicles their age.

In fact, is the new Land Cruiser based on the global platform of the Prado? Or do you mean to say the usa Land Cruiser is a Prado outside the usa?
@readysetrevАй бұрын
Haha technically they are on and the same, should have said that better!
@mohammeds5458Ай бұрын
@readysetrev No, they are not. What you are driving is a first-generation Prado, while the 4Runner is different. Even the old-generation 4Runner was related to the Hilux. Should have done your research better Again, stick with the unknown 4Runner
@readysetrevАй бұрын
@@mohammeds5458 hey, thought you were referencing the new Land Cruiser (USA version) that I talked about at the beginning of the video. That is the same as the global Prado.

I hate the manual in my 18 Tacoma. Absolute garbage. The truck itself is great the trans ruins it. On the other hand jeeps are the new soccer mom mini van and can’t compare to Toyota reliability.
@yotakev99Ай бұрын
I think what kills it is the rev hang. But that’s unfortunately on every new manual car due to government being government (EPA regulations). My ‘23 is clunky but it’s because it’s very hard to get a smooth shift consistently with the rev hang.
