Neat trick for cutting the metal parts holding dies together. My method is just to hold the dies & my wire cutter into a trash can. That way, the metal bits go directly into the trash. Yes, you can protect your eyes with safety goggles, but if one of those pieces gets on the floor & then into your (or someone else's) foot - ouch! Your way is good, too, of course, & one I've never seen. :) I do the same sort of thing with putting the tape around the point when I have to throw away nails, screws, pins, etc., so they don't poke through the trash bag & maybe come out entirely. I love how your card came out, Carly! Those colors are just so bright & happy - perfect for butterflies. Thank you for sharing. Take care, & I hope you have a fantastic day! :)

😂I promise there was no real technique to the painting! I just tried to paint in rainbow order so most butterflies have more than one color of Distress Ink like Picked Raspberry ink mixing with Carved Pumpkin and the Carved Pumpkin and Mustard Seed, etc.

So adorable! When my older son was a baby, he was a chunky boy and we affectionately called him our chunky monkey! I showed him (he’s 15 now) your card and he smiled! Love the swinging action as he does too!

When I saw that first card in the thumbnail, I expected to hear your musical rendition of “strip it up” and yet, you surprised me with the ink blending. Apparently it could be either. Both cards are great! (Really no surprise there. You never disappoint.)
