I just got my first g1, secondhand at a collectables store (bowtie) she was in pretty good condition with just a chip on the eye and sorta dry hair but i was able to give her a srub and condition her hair and oh my gosh! The hair on the g1s are so much easier to work with than the g4s! Id love to see you restore a bowtie by the way!

Am new to collect mlp? Should i clean the inside of the mlp Gen 1s or just the outside?

The Aztec culture was one of my main interests when I was a kid/younger teen (alongside Mayans, Incas, Ancient Egypt, Japan, Norse mythology, astronomy, and, of course, dinosaurs & prehistoric fauna and flora in general), so for me the idea is genius and the execution is excellent! I love all three variations of the project, and I'm thankful for their availability through your Etsy shop! (Though the slate one might be a bit risky to ship to the other side of the world...) Edit: I would love to see your take on the marriage of ponies and Ancient Egyptian art!

It may be worth it to look into a retrobrightening box. That or an airbrush.

Does it also help to wet the (head) hair before you re-root it? Or should it stay dry? I know you had to use super hot water to soften the head, but I didn’t know if wetting the hair helps too. I love your works! Edit #2: Do you also apply some kind of setting spray or fixative to the custom cutie marks so that it doesn’t accidentally get wiped off?

Also have you tried just straight liquid-y (water-like) hydrogen peroxide in a container and then weighing the ponies down to stay under it while you retrobrite them? I have seen other KZbinrs use this method with great success!
