The mom has proven where her priorities lie and it’s not with their kid. She only sees her as a prop and a doll with no feelings. Only loves her daughter when it’s convenient. All that depression stems from feeling unwanted, minimized, unloved and abandoned by her own mom. Forcing the daughter to suppress her own emotions is going to do damage in the long run. All the adults around op failed her.

Why is it so desperately important that she's friends with Kim? If she was rolling her eyes when I spoke, I would calmly call her out then and there. "Is there something you'd like to add? Or is there a problem you'd like to share?"

Stuck his dick in crazy, and luck was with him for now. They're REALLY testing the "in sickness and in health" part of those vows. Makes me wonder if the first dude was cheating, or if that was the start of her mental break. Maybe she toyed with his marriage too. Not sure cause they never went back to it, but she's locked down, so that's good.

The added headache of being a half hour away from each other? That's still just 30 minutes right? And he was right, OP did put him on the back burner to try Andy out. I am sure she was very thorough in her evaluation of Andy, had her fun and then oh, let's get back together with ol' reliable who you now refer to as your soulmate. Do you really do that to your soulmate though? And how bout some of the answers to his questions about Andy and why you did it? Does anyone doubt that in the future whenever Andy wants her no matter her relationship status, all he has to do is reach out and he can have her? So OP's best friend is actually the hero of the piece and saved Ryan.

I 100% bet the reason the niece heard her father called him the f slur is because they got tired of their daughter coming home and talking about how awesome of an uncle he is to her. Knowing most adults dont develop past their early 20s, they got jealous and started talking smack about him in front of her

I think Kim took Lee's cluelessness as submissiveness when they lived together, and that led Kim to forming a twisted semi-maternal relationship with him. Kim sees OP as unworthy of dating her 'son' and is using passive aggressive behavior to try to seperate them.
@pretzelicious4200Күн бұрын
With someone that exhibits such childish behavior, she just wants him for himself cause she knows she could manipulate him into doing whatever she wanted. She started the rumors as peer pressure to 'make him see they would make a good couple'.

This isn't about Atheism or religion. This is about the boyfriend being a controlling asshole who only cares about his own thoughts and feelings. He has zero empathy for OP and the fact that she just lost her Mom after he drove a wedge between them.

The commenter is a moron. You can't shield kids entirely from what's going on around them, and OP didn't "involve" her. The child sees what her father does and knows how it affects her.

@S474NdiadopКүн бұрын
@ years? It’s only been a few months into a year. Sorry, had to say that cause I was confused on why you used “years”. Yeah, I forgot to include that. I’m not applauding him at all since his dense brain caused this woman to almost fully spiral. At least this serves as a lesson to him that if he wants a stable and healthy relationship, maybe take his gf’s concerns a bit more seriously rather than brush it off. And that Pushing her to do things she vocally expresses she isn’t okay with aren’t a solution.
@RorschachqpКүн бұрын
@ OP clearly says she had a breakdown two years ago and she feels she’s been making up for it for that long.

Even if he didn't she wanted to uproot him from his place to a new job. He couldn't have been clueless forever
@S474NdiadopКүн бұрын
@@M.W.2 oh yeah. That specific part bothers me cause that lady was acting highly inappropriate doing that. By inappropriate, I mean she just decided for him, and she seems as someone who’s kinda in a higher position than the bf. Either way, this should still work as a lesson for OP’s bf to take her concerns seriously in the future. Not just about other female friends, but other concerns like harrassment or emergencies.
@brusselsproutsesКүн бұрын
could kim get demoted or something? she put his name down for something that he said that he did not want to do numerous times
@S474NdiadopКүн бұрын
@@brusselsproutses I think this is possible since she is kinda doing something inappropriate. Whatever her intentions were, it’s possible she was interested in the bf. And that’s inappropriate as she is a coworker, and it seems she’s in a higher position than the bf. Hope bf’s HR complaint goes through and they at least reprimand this lady for her actions that are borderline inappropriate. Even if she wasn’t interested in him in that form, why does she think she can choose where the bf can be positioned in? Especially when he’s not interested.
@justincooper5189Күн бұрын
The only other thing I can think of, is maybe she wanted to get him into a different place so she wouldn't have to deal with him. His girl did say he's a bit dense on certain things, and that people thought they had hooked up. Maybe they think that it's the only way that he's working there, because they might think he's popping that ass. So, she might be thinking that she could be finally taken seriously if he's somewhere else. But it's all just a thought.

had a pretty similar experience also around 5 years ago with one of my high school friends. my friends and even some of my teachers used to ask me what the deal between us was because even they could tell there was 'something' going on, and i was just so confused because while it meant it wasn't all in my head it was just... i don't know, even now it's hard putting it into words because i still feel somewhat hung up on the whole situation... it was like being on the edge of what could've been something, waiting for anything to happen and confirm that i wasn't crazy for thinking he might've liked me back. the difference between my situation and the one on the post is that he knew i liked him (i left a note on his locker and it was just really awkward lol) and even still he didn't do anything. and that was that. stopped talking to him for my sake after graduating, even now i still think about him and it's difficult to know if i'm truly over it or not... i think i am and then some months later something pops up that reminds me of him and some unresolved feelings come crashing back in. i relate to the post so much it's crazy... gives me hope that i won't be so hung up on him as time passes.

The fact she killed a child that wasn't just hers because the child's father was an ah, rather than just giving him the child or putting the child up for adoption. Nope, just went with killing off the baby because she wasn't feeling it now that she knows the father is a spineless momma's boy. I hope she doesn't regret what she did later and that she heals from all of this. It's just sad, the baby didn't do anything wrong and didn't deserve to be punished for the father being vile.

Six to eight weeks in literally is not a baby. Its not even a foetus. Its about the size of a small rasberry, that there is no way you would even be able to discern it from most other mammalian embryos on the planet. Shes cut the only string, other than the marriage, that holds her to him, or gives him any claim or right to try to interfere with her life. And why in the name of Pete Sampras would she go through the risk, loss of earnings, permanent damage to her body, and the trauma of bearing a child to term she dosnt want to carry in order to just hand it over to a coward who would then hand it right onto someone else to raise when she had the option to just end everything right there and walk away in tact. Just so you get to enjoy your sense of morality be inflicted on someone else whos situation you'll never experience? Pff. Good for her.
