I had this on a E63s that i no longer own, made me not want to drive the car. But my rattles were even worse than yours. They sometimes sounded so bad that i thought the pano was gonna crack right in the middle.. Like loud snaps and cracks. You think that was the same problem as yours? I recognize the sound from ur vid but mine were just more and louder. Specially when going over bumps and stuff. Good vid man, good to know for the next time!

could you get then cam fazor out with out removing the oil filter housing ?
@ExoticCarDIY8 минут бұрын
Short answer, no. There was a discussion on the form on if it's possible, one guy with the m278 says it is, he removed the oil lines that come in the top of the housing, and then he ground down part of the housing so they would come out. The m157 I believe there is no room for that. What most of us have done is just simply installed a dummy harness that won't transfer the oil to the factory wiring harness

I'm curious which car you enjoy the most. F355 or your f430?
@ExoticCarDIY2 күн бұрын
Short answer, 355. As I explained in my review vid, it's my obtainable dream car from my youth and it's the perfect "fun fast" car that engaged all the senses. The 430 is spectacular, abs I do really really like it. While the 355 never broke or let be down, it's gives you the feeling it's still a bit fragile, while the 430 is stout, strong and stress free. In stock form the 355 is so much better looking, but with a good set of wheels and a proper ride height, the 430 can be gorgeous as well

i'm sure you caught this... when you changed your impeller there was a 3rd washer that you missed in the video... it was stuck on the old impeller when you pulled it off... there should be 3 washers total (2 flat and 1 wavy one sandwiched between the flat ones...)

Bro I just started watching some of your videos and thanks for all the info. The same reason is why I’m in love for this car. I was a teenager and worked all summer so I could buy a PlayStation. I finally got one at the end of summer and my PlayStation came with Need for Speed. I stayed up all night playing it and the 355 was my favorite car to drive in those games. Man I wish I could own one or a late model 348.

Did the oil flow mod = SMOOTHER & QUIETER, with no issues other than the soft code that dose NOT turn on the C E L. But MB has issued a emissions related update for the M278/157, the update turns the soft code into a hard C E L code. Working with my tuner after the holidays to turn it off.

These belts presumably age with time as well as use, but since most of these cars do such low miles it’s the time that really matters. In which case why did Ferrari quote 3 years to replace them initially? My NSX only needs belts every 5 years according to Honda, why should the 355 be any different?

The ebay links are dead for the radmoon and cable, do you have other sources? I see a rental is like 250 for 5 days from some places.
@mgarozzo1112 күн бұрын
Also you need 2 cables i believe? the moon to tesla and the type A to ethernet , right?
@ExoticCarDIY12 күн бұрын
I just the updated the description. There are two variants of the rad Moon, one has the typical RJ45 and the other uses a mini or IX plug. Typically the one with the RJ45 is like $300, and the one with the "IX" port is like $20 but it requires a special cable which I also linked in the description.

Any way to test the jumper when instslled? I just performed this fix and came across some sort of wire harness jumper in between the counsel and the wire plug with the black and purple/white wires. Must be from a previous under warranty "fix"! I applied the paperclip to the only purple/white and black wire clip even though it did not go directly into the council like your video. Anyways as soon as I got home it I got the shift to park message agin. Going to go back in it and try again, was looking for suggestions or maybe a way to test before i button eveything up again. Great video by the way.

TRUST ME PEOPLE ***THIS IS NOT*** AS EASY AS HE MAKES IT OUT TO BE. Unless you have your own car LIFT in your house you can NOT take the fan out from underneath even on jack stands -- you have to wrestle it out the top taking more stuff off making a masive leak under your can regardless of catch pans. ALSO, there ***IS NO ROOM*** to wrench out the motor mounts while its on jack stands maybe if you have a car lift and you have PRE LOOSENED the nuts before the video it the motor mounts will unscrew then but in reality NO **F**ing way. I have spend HOURS now and I have NOT even gotten to being able to lift he motor like he PARTIALLY shows here.
