Wyatt Langford at number 4 will be the best player and biggest steal in that draft.

Based on last season it's Skenes, and not even close. Even if Landford puts up star-level numbers -- and I think he will -- Skenes is looking like a unicorn.

Giants should either start him in the majors or not call him up until Mid July. If he starts in the majors the Giants can get a first round pick if he wins rookie of the year. Which they desperately need with the worst farm system in baseball. If they’re not gonna do that then they need to slow his clock down and wait until after the All-Star break
@johndurrer7869Күн бұрын
Yet they still have the #30 farm system in baseball

Nice video - Shaw is poised to breakout in 2025. He has the bat, approach, the iq and lets not forget above average speed so be an all-star calibre 3B for the Cubs in the near future!

Mantle was the Greatest ever!! Mantle had an incredible 4 different season with 100+ RBI. .. in only 18 season played. Thats a WORLD RECORD! AND the always hustling Mantle averaged less doubles per 162 games played than Bengie Molina, the slowest player in MLB History! That Mantle guy was 100X better than Ohtani and Ruth put together! alohaha

Comparing kids to current/past ML stars is NUTS!! So very many things can go wrong or don’t pan out as expected between the ages of 16 - when the predictions were made - and 24, 25 when we get an idea of what sort of player the kid has actually grown into. Finally, it’s light years from the Dominican dirt fields to MLB competition. Flashing tools is one thing; becoming an established MLB star day in and day out is quite another.

He's a super nice guy as well. The San Jose Giants always work out at our gym when they are in town, and they are great. Bryce even took a private pilates class with my wife and the guys loved it. Looking forward to seeing him in the bigs.

Wish him well Anytime I hear 5 tool player I cringe bc in my 50+ years of watching baseball 5 tool players always fall short because of injuries. For every 5 tool Trouts and Griffeys there are literally 100’s of misses.

Yankees are good at giving youngsters 100 at bats in the majors thinking that’s going to show anything but yet the front office can’t bring a World Championship

This Yankee fan is excited over the prospect of seeing him get a full shot at making huge contributions to the team. However, let's wait and see what we get before comparing him to any great players. Good grief, the kid is going to be under enough pressure as it is.
@RealROI4 күн бұрын
As Yankee fan Boone gave him plenty chance at end of season to replace Doogie and lost. They need start him this year and see if it works out. He's too small IMO and over hyped like this video. I personally don't think its going to work out. Would love to be proven wrong.

It’s an unfair comparison. To compare someone to the likes of Mickey Mantle or Mike Trout is unfair to this young man! He may have all the tools and Man it was Great seeing his first at bat but let the kid play! In 10 years if he is playing at his perceived potential then make the comparison!

Yankees Gave that many Tommy John to buy time for the outfield the paid heavy for. No New York team will place a starter on the bench for someone who makes less Despite being clearly better. The headlines are never in the team Favor.
